Hello. My name is Morgan. I live with my partner Erin. We are two trans women with various ailments that stop us from realizing our full potentials. Erin is on disability for her ailments, I still have to do a work study while I try to get a degree that will allow me to get a career in a field that I can actually work in without destroying my body further.
We’re at a low point financially. My work study goes off this Tuesday, December 14, and I won’t have any more work until January 19th. Furthermore, my student loans don’t come in until a month after that, and my paychecks won’t start up again until two or three weeks after then, too.

It is now December 24. No donations have come in from this post. I think I have one more paycheck that’ll come in a week from today but then I’m running completely dry until February. I *MIGHT* have some money coming in from HEERF on the 31st, but there’s no way of me telling yet whether it’ll come at all or how much it will be. So for now, I’m still in dire need of help. Or rather, we’re still in dire need of help. We really need to get through the next few weeks to be able to stay afloat for a while. Or, if HEERF fails to come through, the next few months. But still, the bottom line is: We need help. We’re doing everything we can to try to get to a point where we can be self-sufficient and even have excess to help others with.
Basically the plan is to get me my degree, get me a job somewhere that isn’t an economic black hole, and start saving towards getting a house instead of having to rent and throw money into some landlord’s pocket. Then, as much as it’ll suck for me, I’ll probably be working full-time (the career I’m going after doesn’t exactly have room for part-timers) and making way more money than I need. Then I can be the one to help others in need, which is what I’ve always wanted.
But none of that can happen if we can’t make it through to my graduation next Fall. And so I’m asking for everybody’s help. Please, please help. And please boost this wherever you can.
