SO. This is happening. December 17th. From the way they’re phrasing it, comics will still be allowed but a couple of things: First, it’s still kind of vague. Like, “nudity found in art” is up to the discretion of whoever is in control. Art is subjective and you see phrasing like this used to weed out drawn erotica anyway, because somebody at headquarters decides this ain’t art, buddy. Second, you know that this kind of thing is going to get moderated via algorithm with as little human interaction as possible. There will be accounts flagged incorrectly. My account is loaded with words and images that could easily get flagged even if my first point ends up being proven wrong.

Third, “female presenting nipples” just fuck off. Fuck off. Adult illustration accounts were already in a kind of precarious situation as is. I don’t think it’s alarmist to say that I don’t expect the ThirtyHelens tumblr to survive this change either way. I’ll be here ‘til I’m booted because I still think Tumblr has value but who knows for how long. If you want to continue seeing my work after December 17th, you can check out my Twitter, or my Hentai Foundry profile, or even donate to my Patreon. I may even make a Newgrounds account, who knows. That seems to be where people are headed.

So after a year since last fall, I’ve finally got this remix or cover done! And boy, was it a lot of fun to do of working on this project.
