#i love cas flying into the drivers seat proving that this was all truly unnecessary but dean isnt gonna think that far #if sam makes a comment like 'wow cas sure does have a lot of car trouble huh?' dean would just be like#? uh yeah duh? its cas hes an angel you know how clueless he is with this stuff?#i dont know what youre even trying to insinuate like? what are you even urgh whatever cas needs me to come pick him up okay whatever#and sam is like 'it sure would be practical if he could just fly here... you know like an angel might... have fun!#[pats dean on the shoulder and leaves him to deal with that]#dean in the impala on his way to pick up cas like .......#just staring blankly at the road#and then when he has to interact with cas and drive him home and cas just acts like he always does like this isnt completely intentional#'oh thank you so much for picking me up dean i dont know what happened uwu'#deans mind is racing trying to think of good excuses for why cas doesnt just fly in these scenarios and just freaking out because#the barrier of pretending has been smashed at least from his side now so now hes just sitting in the car with a beautiful boy for no reason#other than they both want to and its all very real all of a sudden thinking about what he wants..#im thinking about sam being like 'its funny when i offered to give him a ride he just said no need and zapped out of here...'#'just an interesting observation in an observationally interesting way'

like what more do I even need to say. he’s right. I do think Dean would not quite jump all the way to ‘he wants to spend time with me’, instead, a period of confused betrayal:
