I feel like tumblr has been subjected to my grief before so I wanna post here unfiltered unlike my other socials. So TW for loss/death below. (Specifically of a pet).

I lost my baby girl yesterday. Waking up without hearing her shaking her head or just seeing her laying on her bed has made everything way worse. Sitting at my desk without her next to me to check on constantly was fucking awful. I’ve had this dog since I was 11 years old and it’s like I don’t even remember a life when I didn’t have her. She got me through the worst times in my life, I had her when I had no one, stuck in my childhood home alone. I’m so glad she isn’t suffering anymore but I’m still here, just without her. I am incredibly grateful I got to say goodbye, and that she got to go while laying in my arms asleep, but holy fuck I’m going to miss her. I love you so much Dottie.
