TAYLOR BELL.

Taylor couldn't help the way she stiffened as she saw the familiar badged Sheriff approach her. "Before you ask, no, I am not with Peter tonight." And she totally wasn't bitter about it. "And I don't know where he is, either."

Taylor didn't know who this woman was, or why the hell she was yelling into her phone, but it was hard to ignore when it was happening directly behind her. She supposed she had her enhanced sense of hearing to thank for that. She was eavesdropping, of course, and when she heard the call drop she casually turned around and smirked a bit as she nodded. "You're right, you know. Scheduling really isn't that hard."

"Probably not." Taylor replied flatly as she eyed the woman in front of her up and down for a moment and tilted her head. "What're you writing down?"

Maybe it was a little childish to play with her food, but Taylor couldn't help the soft smirk she gave the boy as she glanced around and shrugged her shoulders. "You're pretty far from the river. Actually, you're pretty far from.. well, from everything."

Taylor didn't necessarily hate Blue, but that didn't mean that she liked her. Much like the rest of the sirens that hung around the lagoon that Peter and the Lost Boys frequented, Blue annoyed Taylor. Any other girl that hung around them tended to take the attention away from her, and that was a problem. Rolling her eyes dramatically, Taylor let her head turn towards the other blonde before raising an eyebrow. "I'm looking for Peter. Have you seen him?"

"Are you seriously trying to use your song on me?" Taylor quipped back to the other blonde before glancing around the bar and nodding towards a man who was sitting alone in the corner. "Why don't we go for him? You get your life force, and then I drain him. Boom, we're both happy."

"Not one hint over where he could be? Isn't that strange? Well...Stranger."

"He's probably dead." Taylor pointed out bluntly as she just shook her head. "Anytime someone's missing for more than seventy-two hours, they're usually dead. Especially around here."

"Amazing, come, I know a place my brothers and I go to, I'm sure you'll like it." she said ready to lead the way to the other, "I promise no stories, but also promise there will be a lot of cheese. You don't mind?"

It didn't take them long to get to the place Wendy mentioned and once they got their food and found a table Taylor picked up her burger and took a hesitant bite. She couldn't help the soft groan of disapproval she let out as she closed her eyes and savored it. "I forgot how good grease is. Even if it's disgusting."

"Right. Because ghosts are definitely real." Sally nodded slowly. "Don't worry, you're not the first vampire too scared to come in. It's probably for the better. We're crowded enough as is."

"Right." Taylor paused to give the other girl an inquisitive stare, wondering if maybe she'd break and actually admit it out loud. Either way, she didn't want to fuck around and find out. Even the outside of the Mansion gave her the heebie jeebies. "So what, is it like... a hostel, then? A commune?"

"So you picked here? I gotta say, you have great taste." There was a scoff. "I'm not territorial, so I don't care. Other Tartarus vamps might not feel the same. Keep that in mind." Sighing, she crouched down to pull the dead man's license from his wallet. The generic name didn't ring any bells. She'd have a bouncer from the club move the body. "This was the last thing I needed."

Taylor tended to let her overconfidence get to her in situations like these, and she didn't let it falter as she nudged the guy on the ground again with her foot and groaned. "There's always plenty of loitering drunks around here. It's easier to keep under the radar." And maybe she was spending less time around Peter and the Lost Boys. Branching out a bit, if you will.

"Why's that? Because Peter Banning is your boss? You know he doesn't actually have any power outside of your Lost Boys, right? The laws do apply to him."

"No, because I haven't actually done anything." Taylor decided not to acknowledge the fact that Marian was absolutely right. Peter didn't have much sway when it came to the law, even if it might have felt like it at times. He'd been such a big influence on Taylor's entire life for the past thirty plus years. And while the relationship might be toxic, she was still as loyal as ever to Peter.

"I don't think there's anything in particular that I want from you specifically. I need to feed, unfortunately."

"You know how Peter is about others feeding around the cove." Downright territorial, really. Taylor was more so warning Emily over anything else.

"Please, put me out of my misery." Her eyes rolled. That being said, she didn't like how Taylor was looking at her. Shoving her hands into her pockets, Eira eyed the other vampire warily. "Looking hot isn't usually my problem," her tone was wry. "So I don't know what you mean."

"I mean you clearly need to feed." If Taylor had to guess, the other girl was freshly turned. The denial certainly didn't help convince her otherwise. "If you don't, pretty soon your body won't give you the choice of where or how you decide to do it."

"I think it's exhaustion, actually. I'm guessing that doesn't it make it any better."

"It just makes it sadder." Taylor pointed out flatly, but her face softened slightly as she tilted her head at the other girl. She wasn't sure what compelled her to ask, but she did anyways. "Why are you so tired?"

"Call out to them? We don't have a whale song or anything like that." They were drawn to each other as a rule of thumb. It was how Coral, Blue and Marina had come to Walt's Landing in the first place. Why they hung out with Peter and the Lost Boy's was beyond Ariel. Her father had hated humans, but he had also hated Peter's gang. "Would you be willing to tell them I was here?"

"Huh. I always figured that was how it worked." Taylor admitted offhandedly as she just shrugged her shoulders and glanced down at her nail beds. "I guess I can do that. Why should I, though?"

"I do not work for Otis." The words come out hot and fast. If it weren't for Otis, her family would be alive. Rasputin's hit would never have been ordered. Otis was the one responsible for her family's ruination, and all because he was power hungry. She had worked at the Hunter's Tavern for a second before being turned, but that was before she knew the extent of their relationship. "And I don't want to be your friend."

"Yeesh." Taylor quipped back with a soft shrug as she chuckled softly under her breath. Clearly she'd struck a nerve there. She recognized the woman from the Hunter's Tavern back in the day, but she must've moved on. "You're the one who keeps talking to me. I'm just trying to enjoy my drink." She held up the blood bag in her hand, complete with a straw and everything. Maybe Peter didn't exactly want her loitering around Tartarus, but Nico Dios sure knew how to provide the vampires of Walt's Landing with quality under the table product.
