Five by Five

                     “It is.

                            Talking doesn’t help.

                                     He needs a good wake-up call.

With her mouth slightly open Claire had tried backing away from the strange creatures that suddenly had appeared. What were these things? She narrowed her eyes in the low light clutching her camera tightly to her chest. So much for trying to catch the last glimpses of light - the darkness never brought anything good with it.

As one of the creatures bared its teeth, her eyes widened slightly. Did vampires really exist? Biting her lip, trying to figure out what to do, a new figure entered the scene and Claire tilted her head slightly watching a dark haired girl calling out for the creatures to notice her.

                                         ”Look out ! “

Her words seemed to drown in the battle in front of her as the other received a hit in the face. Biting her lip again she was sure that it now was over for the both of them, but somehow the other managed to keep on fighting and Claire could not do anything else than just watch what happened as the dark haired girl charged the attackers.

Wood? Confused by the other’s request she looked around rather helplessly before turning back to the other. Why did she need wood? Once again she looked at the creatures. Where they really vampires? She searched her brain for information about such creatures and finally she understood what the other was asking for.

                                      “Uhhh….. Not here, no?”

Again she bit her lip not really feeling helpful at all. Desperate she looked around trying to find something that could help the other.

                                            “Over there?”

These vamps were putting up one hell of a fight, but they were no match for her. When one managed to grab onto her from behind, she simply moved her head back and knocked him so hard in the face he went stumbling back all the while kicking the other in the chest to keep him at bay.

Glancing over at the girl she was trying to save, she heaved a small sigh when she saw the confused look in the other’s eyes. Was she really that thick? It should be pretty obvious what she was asking for considering the nature of these creatures she was trying to fight off.

                                        ”Today, Blondie ! “

When realization seemed to kick in, Faith rolled her eyes, but she was out of time and had to focus on her opponents again. With a  roundhouse kick, she sent goon number one flying back while growling louddly hen she felt persistent and annoying number two grabbing onto her again. Always from the back too. What a coward. Grunting, she kept hold of his hands and bent over, flipping him over her with all her strength to where he hit the first one and sent that idiot spiraling back onto the ground.

Looking back at the girl, she frowned when the other wasn’t there anymore and Faith balled her fists. Some people were just too stupid for their own good.

                                     “Great...”

When she finally spotted the blonde heading towards the park, she shook her head. At this time of night, it really wasn’t safe, which these two vampires should had proven already. Not that she cared all that much, but she was here and not about to walk away from a good fight, so she hollered after the girl.

                                         “Hey! Get back here!”
