    “A… snake?”

     “That kid. The one who came down here, with the head injury... the one that was crying,” Frank sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. He dug his foot in the ground. “Is he okay? Y’know, he’s newer and... y’know.”

     “why are you looking at me like that?”

        within seconds, frank was smiling like an        idiot. it wasn’t like he took the peck on his        cheek as any kind of romantic gesture. he         would have never even considered it to be        like that. no, no. it was a celebratory kiss.         a camp jupiter WIN in a capture the flag        match. after three weeks of losses, a win         was nice. not that it was anything more        than a fun way to get the camps together.                he rubbed his cheek, and beamed at her        throwing his arm over his shoulder and         chuckling.                         “good work, praetor.”

      this is it. the thing that makes frank      happier than anything. hazel’s kisses.      she’s beautiful and she’s kissing HIM.      it’s enough to make him excited enough      to hit the floor and stay lying there       forever. she smells wonderful, and just      about everything that she is just that...                                                                               wonderful.      goodness, she’s wonderful. frank doesn’t      even have to say a word. he just smiles      and looks at her, wrapping his fingers      around her smaller hands and pressing      his forehead to hers.                                   “what was that for?”

      it wasn’t like frank had never been      kissed. sure, but he had always      KNOWN who he was kissing and      well, this just wasn’t like that. he      wasn’t exactly one who was just      okay with kissing strangers.              “do i, uh, know you?”       no he doesn’t. and he knows that.      heck, his face is like a tomato.             “it’s not that it wasn’t a nice             kiss. don’t get me wrong, uh,             you are a very good kisser.              i mean–… i just… PLEASE             don’t do that again.”

     lets be real, maybe frank WAS     in over his head in the homo war.      a part of him knew that. but still     he taunted and joked about it.     it wasn’t until he actually got a     full on taste of it, that his face      turned cherry red and he rubbed     the back of his neck.                “i... uh...”         play it cool, zhang.       he laughed, looking down as his       feet. hey, will wasn’t a BAD kisser.      just not what he expected. but,      frank was not backing down on       his goal; head homo.               “you call THAT a kiss?”
