SAUGERTIES (THIS IS TO MOTHER YOU)

Hey boys, it’s noontime at the bus stop. Little village sunburn. Wake up, shadow. Nail gel, I know cartoon backpack transit metal. I get it. These are true duds. I haven’t pierced my ears or learned how to drive.

This is my gallery. Didn’t you know I work here? We’re having an event tonight. I named it Saugerties because I just liked the way it sounds. It means little sawmill, little sawyer. Woodcutter, little carpenter I will be queen of meteors.  Let’s get some gay religion:

In 1990 Jesus Christ said she didn’t want them to play "The Star-Spangled Banner"  before her concerts, and Frank Sinatra threatened to kick her ass. Jesus Christ’s biggest hit was a song she didn’t even write. Prince wrote that song. Jesus Christ performed on SNL and ripped up a picture of the Pope to protested child abuse in the Catholic church and said fight the real enemy. She became a pariah. Everyone made fun of Jesus Christ. She got booed off the stage at Madison Square Garden. Kris Kristofferson told Jesus don’t let the bastards get you down. Jesus said “I’m not down.” but the crowd kept booing and Jesus Christ walked off stage in tears. Kris wrote a song about her calling Jesus Christ a bald-headed brave little girl. She was ordained as a roman catholic priest, and later came out as a lesbian for while. Jesus Christ told Miley Cyrus not to send the message that it’s somehow cool to be prostituted. She said It’s so not cool Miley. She disappeared for two days in Chicago after making a video from Travelodge threatening suicide. She became a cautionary tale.

Fiona Apple posted a video letter to Jesus Christ and this is what it said: “Hello Jesus Christ, I'm Fiona Apple. I want you to know that you are my hero as well and, I just saw the video of you and I don't want you to feel like that. You've given so much and I wish I could be there. I wish I could be... of some use to you. I just ho-- I’m your friend. That’s all I wanna say. And you’re my hero.“

One of her kids ended his earthly struggle and she backed off twitter. She just wanted a family. Now who’s the asshole.
