Please click on the link and sign the petition. The CQC must regulate all healthcare providers in the U.K yet hotel quarantine remains unregulated putting vulnerable people at serious risk. With doctors and nurses working within these facilities, they should be regulated. People have a right to be safeguarded from abuse, neglect, and serious human rights violations. It is not ok for diabetics to not have anywhere to store their insulin to the point that they almost die. It is not ok for a baby to wait 8 hours before they can get emergency treatment at A&E. it is a scandal. The hotels are dangerous and unsanitary and unfit for purpose. People have had food poisoning and mothers cannot heat baby milk. They cannot safely manage outbreaks. Staff and guests are at risk. Stop calling these places “hotels” and CQC regulate them NOW and protect vulnerable people who deserve better. Vegetarian options are scarce, Muslims are given pork sausages, babies can’t crawl on the floor. This cannot continue.
