🌱 Good afternoon~
I don’t know if anyone will see this, but I was looking for some plant help haha. I have this Fiddle Leaf Fig that my mom gave to me once it became too tall for her kitchen counters, but it’s been drooping lately, and the leaves are really weak or fall off.
Other than the MANGLED parts (my mom let it get burnt by the kettle 😭), I’ve been watering it once a week, or less. My room fluctuates between 65 and (perhaps) 74 degrees Fahrenheit. No soil changes yet, but I will look into it if necessary. It usually gets 4+ hours of light!
My mom said its leaves turn yellow when overwatered, but I don’t exactly have a measure of what looks “yellow”, as I tried some searches and came up relatively empty handed. I did read that they usually need support, but I don’t know if that’s temporary or not.
If you guys happen to have any ideas as to why, please let me know! Even though I’ve had these and others for a bit, I’m still really new and don’t know how to read my plant bbys :(
Also, unrelated, but here’s a mystery plant I’m trying to revive from the front’s old, neglected plant beds… It has a bud or sorts that wasn’t there when I moved it inside. I’m going to clean up the dead leaves soon to give it more room to breathe. 😳
