Trillium! I also went on the woody part of the property where a couple planted a lot of native wildflowers years ago. The old woman gave me permission years ago but I think she died and they’re selling the place. I wish now that I had spent some time talking with her to learn more but I never did. Anyway the Dutchman’s breeches we’re done blooming. You can see some foliage. But the trilliums were in full bloom so I got some pictures. Amazing.
If I thought I was staying here I would ask permission to dig some wildflowers for the garden before they do who knows what with that area.
