Ravi was all too happy to leave the Jungle behind, even as that meant heading into a far worse situation. He found a deep dissatisfaction with the traditional tribal viera lifestyle, wherein it was mandated that he would leave village life to become a wood warder. Despite this, he committed himself to a small band of wood warders, led by one who he considered his "mentor" figure as he grew.
So, when his own small band of warders elected to make the sacrifice to leave the wood - knowing they would never be allowed to return - in order to fight for Dalmasca's freedom, and by extension, in hopes of protecting their own home, Ravi was all too happy to be one of the ones who followed.
