i kept trying to reply to this ask tyler got but tumblr kept eating my responses for some reason help but i saw a tiktok to this exact effect the other day and whenever i see something like this im like. why are we focusing on the weed part when what actually matters is that he's lying to you. when you enter a relationship you have the right to set ground rules like "i am not comfortable dating someone who does X, if you do that or can't give it up I really would rather you walk away". so the two scenarios here are either A) you did this and he ignored it because he doesn't care about violating your boundaries as long as he doesn't get caught, in which case LEAVE HIM IMMEDIATELY or B) you DIDN'T do this upfront and dropped this on him suddenly and with a huge amount of pressure so he feels like he has to lie in order to keep this seven year relationship because fully quitting is something he's not really capable of or comfortable doing right now.
