some secrets are meant to be told

I haven't been on the #grimdorks tag on tumblr for years. So I decided to look for old time's sake and I'm suddenly bombarded with hate for the ship. Words like "lesbian erasure" and "homophobia" are suddenly associated with what I've always considered an innocent and cute ship. People are spamming what was always considered a johnrose tag with jaderose and rosekan (both of which I support and love equally but find out of place in a space dedicated to another ship). Seriously disappointed. Respect goes both ways. If you don't like a ship, leave its shippers alone. Does it make you feel self-righteous pride at attacking a ship goes against your own canon? Johnrose isn't something that threatens rosekan! It's literally just another ship! Of two other fictional characters! Of a comic!
