I'm a Finnish otherkin, still pretty much questioning my alterhumanity, gender and me as a being at all

I've been in the otherkincommunity since 2018 and have been in a crisis since then XD my alterhumanity consists of theriantropy and my most probable theriotype of all time is a red fox (I know, so basic... but they're the ones I'm most connected to lol), still questioning the rest if any

In my daily life, I'm very interested in kpop and dancing so hmu if you like those and also are an alterhuman haha

i genuinely feel like there would have been less "fake therians" if it weren't for the fact that individuals on major social media sites tried to change what the definition actually was just to seem more acceptable by society.

Controversial take but for me all otherhearteds and otherpaws and all other microlabels that there are THAT ASSOCIATE WITH ANIMALS, they're all just therians for me idc i will call everyone a therian cuz i will not be memorizing all these microlabels

EDIT I just meant that in my head I will sort everyone under the therian umbrella. I understand that these labels mean different things and I won't call anyone to their face something that they're not.

Two things i don't see people talk about:

1. The shame you feel when you have a "common" kintype. I can't do anything about the fact that my kintype is a fox.

2. When you feel like you should have more kintypes but you just can't seem to connect with more than just one in the same way.

Alterhumanity is amazing but what no one warns you about is the absolutely insane amount of introspection and soul searching that you will wind up doing for the rest of your existence

I made a mask of my fox theriotype! Still very inexperienced in maskmaking but it turned out pretty nice with new techniques, I'll show it when it's completely ready! :3 very excited to do more masks in the future

I met a new cub at pride fest today, it made me so happy. They were doing quads in the hallway and I set my stuff down and tried to do some quads too, we ended up kinda circling each other for a second and then sitting on our pack paws and cocking our heads, making noises at each other. It was such a fast connection.

I see so much of my younger self in them, I really hope it was comforting to them that im here, I survived, im still out here being queer and a therian and living my best life even though at their age I definitely thought I wasn’t gonna live past 16.

It made me excited to be a grey muzzle, so I can keep being my awesome weird self loudly in public as inspiration to cubs (and kits, chicks, human and non-human kids, etc)

I just opened up to my boyfriend about wearing my tail in public and he's so supportive about it. I know it may not be a huge deal to some people, but as I have not talked to him about me being a therian (just lowkey softlaunched this whole "puppy thing") it feels like a huge deal. He told me to just wear my tail and i feel like i could cry
