Hello itās me, I swear after this I disappear again, but quite and interesting matter to talk about isnāt it ??
Why is the Red Bull Ring such a problem ?
Well as you might know, the RBR hosts more than just the F1 GP, and one of the events that are the most popular for the circuit is the Moto GP weekend, itās been back to the calendar since 2016 and everyone enjoys it quite a lot.
Circuits that shares the calendar with MotoGP are frequent in F1, like Silverstone, for example. The thing is, silverstone is not downhill, drivers are less tented to exceed track limits, but the rules are the same.
You might ask why they donāt but gravel or grass, so here are the regulations of the FIM :
So, down deep, itās not really the FIAās fault, or event actually the circuit, itās a circumstances or events that makes it difficult. And as I have time, here is a list of things that makes this track limits thing exist :
Drivers are too low and canāt see the white line properly
Drivers gain time when they exceed track limits because they exit turn 10 quicker
FIA canāt change the regulations for one Grand Prix as itās freeze for the all season
Turn 10 is slightly downhill
Is a high to medium speed corner
The RDB hosts the MotoGP event
The FIM and FIA have different regulations regarding circuit
The FIM is more severe with gravel and grass as MotoGP is slightly more dangerous
Itās expensive to add and remove gravel every-time F1 goes to the RBR
When everyone has a 5 seconds penalty it canceles itself during the race
And I go back to my place, bye and kisses š„°
