haven’t had the chance to finish a fic that explored the idea but I love the thought of sidestep not only feeling the rat king’s emotions psychically but also physically. because it’s like this cluster of brains doesn’t have a body but those neurons are likely still sending impulses off as if they did so sidestep as the next closest telepath is getting those wired into their body which then produces the corresponding reaction. more ppl need to be drawing female characters who are described as having "sharp features" with square face shapes/jawlines and chins btw... for my health.
too much fantasy stories about characters wanting “to kill god” for no apparent reason other than edge factor we need a protagonist who is just laissez-faire agnostic about anything theistic to the point where it circles back into being incredibly interesting.

in my earlier drawing of dina i was very into the idea of giving her these little finger stick&poke tats that i had imagined he'd done on herself sometime after her second escape. and i've fallen out of the habit of it mostly from laziness but idk im so tempted to bring them back. especially the venus symbol bc its always been very endearing to me...
just the idea of sidestep modifying their body with tattoos of their own choosing is very...... yeah🕊️ i think it could be a bit of a meditative practice for dina specifically, for times where she is sensory seeking i think the pain and process of it would be very grounding for him. nothing like feeling a bit of controlled pain to put you back in your own body !
