Within it [the heart] is a poverty and need that nothing can satisfy except love for Him, turning back to Him in repentance, constant remembrance of Him, and sincere devotion to Him. Even if it were given the whole world and everything in it, that need would never be satisfied.

“And what harm would it do you if you said, ‘As-salāmu ʿalaykum’? How much would it earn you? Ten good deeds—ten good deeds that are worth more than the whole world!”

“How many a person intended to become steadfast, yet remained with misguided companions, and so was unable to do so. But when he distanced himself from them, that became one of the causes of his guidance.”

From Abu Hurairah who said that the Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] said: ❝Whoever visited a sick person or his brother for the sake of Allaah a voice will say: may you be good and your life be good in the Dunya [worldly life] and hereafter, and may you be given a home in Paradise.❞

‎[وَهُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ]

"... and as a guidance and a glad tiding for the believers." [97]

Qatadah said: That is because when the believe hears the Qur'an, he memorizes it and stores it away, and he benefits from it and finds peace in it. He affirms in what Allah has promised within it, and have complete certainty about those promises.
