So as we know the Cavia die, one by one, due to their void contamination levels. That is already something that affects Void because by this point he's come to care for the cavia, probably finding comfort in them. So when they day, Void is upset deeply. Yet again those he cares about are killed by the void and they believe he has now lost three more friends to it.
AND THEN THE FUCKING RAP TAP TAP!!! That shit absolutely makes Void tense up. He's mid tears, hears the chorus of three knocks, and immediately gets nervous. Has the murmur broken through? Is Wally using the cavia's bodies as vessels?? They immediately transfer back into whatever frame he's got on hand, ready to fight, before Loid says the cavia are alive. That gets Void to calm down but they're still nervous, still in his warframe, still ready for a fight.
And then the cavia come back and act as their normal selves. Void definitely for a while is tense around them, worried they're just Wally puppeting their corpses. Eventually he calms down, especially once they realize he can hug / comfort the cavia! They're very glad the cavia survived :]
Oh also Bird 3 is Void's fave that's his silly bird friend!!!

The mall was always as quiet as a city taken over by a military cult that's trying to contain a literal computer virus could be. Truth be told Tarhos liked it that way. He'd learned from over the years if things were quiet something was wrong. Total silence made him anxious and on edge. He was happy for the background noise. A mixture of the dull groans from the tendrils of rot that permiated the mall and the occasional snore from one of the Hex. He knew everyone's schedules already, it was easier to exist that way. A strict structure of monotony that helped him keep his mind at ease. The dogs were asleep by the food court table he had set himself at to disassemble and clean his rifle.
Sander's head immediately perking up when he heard footsteps making the proto-frame look for the source. He shushed the hound. Just the Drifter. He barely paid attention while he nodded.
"I get it. It's different than a normal routine so your mind pays attention to every noise until you figure out what's normal." He knew he was walking a fine line being here. Being a former Scaldra wasn't exactly a good look even when you are just another experiment at the hands of a derranged doctor. He had to be on his best behavior, try to relate to people even if he was never the social type.
The Drifter was as good as anyone else.
Void had spotted the newest protoframe lingering nearby. Wanting to make conversation, perhaps even befriend him to some capacity, heโd wandered over. Conversation was never his strong suit, even after leaving Duviri. Having spent most of his formative and adult years in Duviri, surrounded by storybook characters and getting executed meant he wasnโt the greatest at talking. Still, the drifter would try.
He nods softly, giving a small wave of hello to the creature that had lifted its head. Aโdog, was it? The creatures in 1999 were so different than Duviriโs, he was still remember their names. โYeah. Doesnโt help Iโm a light sleeper most days.โ Void muses, a lingering effect from the void jump incident.
โMind if I sit with you for a bit? We donโt have to chat if you donโt want to.โ He wasโvery curious about the other, Tarhos was his name if he remembered right. The others had given Void a rundown on who this was and, since this was the first loop theyโd met, he had not a clue of who Tarhos was.

Dagatha wandering off was not an uncommon occurrence, though it never ceased to worry him. While warframes were capable of handling themselves, Dagatha especially, it always gave the drifter a jolt of panic when he couldnโt find a frame.
Void had looked throughout the orbiter, even going outside of it to the lush forest, calling out the warframeโs name. With each call and no response back his worry rose. Was Dagatha okay? Had she gotten hurt? Had she gotten captured by one of the many enemies of the tenno? The thought of one of his warframes captured irritates him even if the likelihood of it being a possibility is slim.
โDagatha? This isnโt funny anymore, youโre starting to worry me.โ He calls out, now standing a clearing a bit away from the orbiter, hand on his hip. โThe kidโll have my head as a trophy if youโve gotten captured, among many other heads.โ The paradox mutters under his breath before falling quiet. Maybe if he listened he could hear something out of the ordinary that would point him in the right direction?
i love characters who could get the absolute Shit kicked out of them and still be fine but as soon as someone touches/handles them gently itโs likeย โah. im going to shatter to pieces now thanksโ
you guys ever think that drifter unconsciously makes a motion that looks slightly like hitting something with their fist and arthur flinches in response?
they're putting a coffee mug down or something and all arthur sees is the hand coming down to meet the counter and he thinks that this is how it ends. years of trust, friendships, and romance all about to disappear in a second and he won't even get to stop it.
if he was close enough he'd grab the drifter's arm in an attempt to keep what they and the Hex worked so hard for, but all he could do was close his eyes and brace for the inevitable. all of that just to hear porcelain clink against a marble countertop, the drifter calling out to him to check if he was alright.
