have you ever drawn other members of euc's species, or thought about what they might look like? it'd be nice to know a little more about where he's from in general, i'm just a very people oriented person i suppose...
I have actually! I may as well use this as an opportunity to talk about them a bit.
All of this is really just a concept that changes in my head all the time, I assume that if I were to put it in a story it'd change even more but I'll try to describe the general idea.
I don't really have a name for them but I guess the closest to one that i can think of now is "forms". All of them are made out of various geometric figures and lines arranged in various compositions. Their world is comprised of just them and the empty space they live in.
They differ from living beings from earth in that they don't know danger or death and so they have no instinct or reason to fight one another. I guess an important thing about them is that there is no clear barrier between the "members" of this species both in terms of mind and body. It's kind of convoluted but they are also basically a hivemind in the sense that their body is directly tied to their thoughts. If two forms grow similar enough they just merge together and create one bigger composition. They have no real sense of or need for identity in that regard. Their main goal in general is to create these compositions and that is why they yearn for knowledge. The only reason why they are not all just one being is that each form is responsible for expressing and exploring it's own specific set of ideas and concepts.
Their appearance is directly affected by this, here's some sketches I made of example forms. They're not really characters, just designs haha
Also they are all 2D, at least in this specific part of the world. There's other dimensions too but they work a little differently.
