Hello, I'm Cane. I've decided to start posting my art and other stuff on tumblr! (I've never used it before so I'll be learning as I go though...) I plan to repost my work from the past two years or so here and then after that I want to start posting whatever new things I make!

I mainly do geometric art & design as well as video and music related things. Most of it revolves around UTAU and more specifically the inanimate UTAU related community.

I did! In fact, I have two in mind although one is way more of just an idea than the other. The main problem with the one I'm really sure about making is that I have to basically create the sound source first...And that has proven to be quite tricky

The other one I had in mind would be made using the sounds of a certain old synthesizer, or rather a simulator of it. Honestly, it might turn out to be even more troublesome than the first but we'll see how it goes.

As of now however I'm focusing on making two new voicebanks for EUC, one of which being the english one

I decided to replace his english "r" placeholder with the rolled r from his v2 and honestly I think I'm gonna keep it that way (it spares me the pain of figuring out how to make it) I hope it'll have some charm to it...

At some point I also made the choice to stop trying to make the eng c+v phonemizer be kind to him... Sadly I think it was just not meant to be and so I apologize for forcing the old fashioned method upon you. Of course nothing can stop you from using it, it just might sound a little dreadful and diseased. Or not, who knows

I have no clue when I'm actually gonna release it cause I'll be crazy busy up until may or so but I hope not to take that long 🙏

hmm that's a good question! I think that what would surprise him the most is that humans seem to enjoy geometry a lot too, especially in art and design. It's been present in human creations ever since the dawn of time even though nothing we make can ever truly be "geometrically perfect" (the so called human touch haha). Maybe it would make him wonder if humans are in some way fascinated with his kind the same way he is with theirs (of course that's not true but I guess it would be a reasonable conclusion to reach for him specifically) As for the bizarre, well, pretty much everything I think haha. Although that's exactly what he finds interesting about humanity!
