I'm not a child, but Lestat keeps me one. Trapped in this little body, unable to grow or change.

The world moves on without me, and I'm left behind, watching everything slip away. I've learned to pretend it doesn't hurt, but it always does.

Every day I feel my heart breaking a little more. I want to feel what it's like to grow up, to experience love, to live without being haunted by this curse.

But instead, I am stuck, frozen in time, a ghost in a child's body, doomed to watch the world pass me by.

Lestat says I should be grateful, but how can I be? I've had eternity and still don't know what it's like to be truly free.

I can't escape, and I can't forget.
