Drew had to live with the knowledge that her loved ones could die in the war. Her sister did die in the war, after revealing she’s a spy. Belittling Drew’s experiences to pure “mean girl energy” feels counterintuitive to the point that being a demigod is inherently traumatising, something Percy mentions several times in the original series and something that causes most if not all the main conflicts in the original series.
