Another sick project I've been following is Fight to OFF by AHamUWU. Originally, the idea was conceived as a Game Jam project, but now it seems the direction has been steered away from such a deadline to have more time to fully flesh out pretty much everything. It still appears to be early in development, but what's been showcased for the full fangame has been pretty cool to see so far. It features what seems to be a loaded roster of The Batter, Dedan, Japhet, Enoch, The Judge, Zacharie, Sugar, The Queen, and the Elsens. I can totally see myself dumping hours into the game with friends, messing around with the variety of characters. I'll probably play The Judge and Sugar the most, though.

Since a young age, I've always adored Toby's composition skills, and with every new chapter of DELTARUNE, he's never failed to outright blow my mind with his original tracks. While there are still only two chapters left to go before the game is finally complete, as of now, I can confidently say that "Running Sky" is my favorite track in the entire game. I admit my bias for the Mega Man X guitar, but this was the second track in the game that made me put down my controller and just listen to the song loop. It's so quiet, but the piano melody that loops with the guitar during this part is just...oh my god. ( ;´ - `;)

Seriously though, this battle theme is just so badass! The heavy bass and little trumpets are just so charming. Also, the large heretic in the center just looks so damn cool; I love their design so much it really reminds me of Nagoriyuki from Guilty Gear! I wasn't going to make another post about reNEWed yet, but I forgot to tag RAL! Go check out their stuff; they have some key art and zone map teasers posted on their profile as well!

I've been following RAL's development of their remaster for the OFF fangame, NEW, and without fail, every time they post a teaser, my mind is just completely blown away. The enemy designs are just such eye candy, and that battle music teaser they posted just last month? God DAMN. I need to check out the older version, NEW DF, before it releases because this fangame is going to be incredible.

Despite that unfortunate softlock, on a lighter note, I really enjoyed what I've played through so far of Acts I & II! I didn't expect to catch on to the mechanics as fast as I did it felt like such an accomplishment despite it probably being super simple to figure out anyway... (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

I was about to get Pongorma in my party when it occurred to me that I'd yet to try and traverse further out on the map of the game. I tried going above the town and got soft-locked in a desert-like room. I looked it up, and there's NOTHING I can do, and now I have to start the whole game again from the beginning. I was so locked in I hadn't saved for hours! :-(

Man, I've always wanted to check out Hylics. I've always seen such cool fan art of Wayne drawn with other RPG characters I like, but I never actually had the chance to play it before! Finally bought it on Steam for less than a buck. Summer sales are awesome. I'm so excited!

I played the original version of OFF before checking out the remake, and I still really don't get all the hate it receives. Sure, Pepper Steak and all of those incredible tracks aren't present, but at least try to appreciate the new! The combat feels way better now too!
