Something that I've barely heard talking about is how abrahamitic religions use a manipulatory language to invalidate gay people and justify oppression.

“You can't be gay/lesbian as a [insert religion]"

This phrase used a lot by religious believers implies that sexual orientation is a choice but religion isn't.

It would make more sense if they instead said: "You can't be [insert religion] if you're same-sex attracted"

Like, you don't want gay people among your faith's followers? That's ok to me, I'll go find a better community, but don't manipulate me into thinking that something that is part of me can be "cured"

Some leftists are so interesting to me because what do you mean you hate terfs, but muslims are totally welcome? The same religion that has being gay haram? The people that are at times violently homophobic to their own people in the name of the Quran? People will come on this app and/or twitter shouting "No terfs on our turf" and then post about "Islamophobia is bad". How is it acceptable to not only be transphobic but homophobic and misogynistic at the same time in the name of religion, but being trans exclusionary feminist is where they draw the line? I never see trans rights activists protesting about "punch your local muslim" or "the only good muslim is a dead muslim", but somehow with radical feminists it's okay? The only possible conclusion is misogyny. I seriously am baffled by hashtag they.

a small question: don't cis people get gender affirming care? like women will get bothered if they look too manly or be compelled to have implants and facial reconstructions out of a female beauty standard. men do similar things as well.

No matter how harsh any blackpiller's criticism is of het partnership and the women who engage in it, they're still 1000x more moral and fundamentally concerned with women's safety than any radfem who gently condones and encourages such relationships with sweet words and a soft tone.

The former is temporarily bruising your ego, and the latter is encouraging you to get into a dynamic that we know is consistently exploitative to women and too often leads to abuse, sexual assault (including coerced sex through guilt and pressure, which is astoundingly common) and murder.
