Trying to redesign bourbons base skin to fit a bit more with my personal ideas and her real life jockey silks (featured above). Giving her a short cropped jacket since it's very common in many gundam series and that's one of her primary inspos, and also keeping shape language and everything else is going to be the death of me.

The biggest issue is just colors. Her OG has blue as an accent color, which works in general, but I don't want to use it to stay inline with her jockey silks. Even beyond that, balancing a variety of colors to not be overly busy is such a struggle. If anyone has any ideas or crits or advice I am very willing to hear it :'D

Tried out a few variations, currently top right is my fav I think. Keeping the salmon/pink with dashes of yellow. idk

I think something throwing me off is the coat sleeves ending at the same height as her skirt. oof.

I really struggle to draw her sometimes and the uma outfits are absolute hell sometimes, so thought I would make a lineup for bourbon of outfits I would like to draw her in. Also finding ways to include prosthetic legs because I have ideas... also, I struggled so hard drawing those legs, prosthetics are a lot harder to draw than I thought they would be.

I felt as though a lot of the artfight drama this year was kinda silly and revealed how few people actually read the rules. Like do I think that them allowing guidelining is a good choice? Yeah! Do I think that the moderators were being "supremacists" and "elitist"? Nope, like the only screenshots even shown for that were random users, not mods. Just generally major overreaction.

When looking back at old adopts that didn't sell I found this one (OG on the right) and felt I could do better at the "creepy alien" vibe now compared to back then. Quite happy with the improvement i'll be honest
