"You obviously still love her, dude. Why don't you just tell her before it's too late?"

"It's too complicated. I hurt her...You didn't see her face."

"Look, all I'm saying is that you two should attempt to talk....before it's too late."

"Too late? Why do you keep saying that?"

"Are you ready for the next viewer?"

"Yep! Bring them up." 

As soon as Aaron saw his girlfriend's smiling face pop up on the screen, his mood instantly brightened. He smiled and waved at the screen.

"Hey, Mel!" He greeted her excitedly. "Who's your little friend?" 

"Hi there, Mr. Dawson." She replied as she held up her small kitten. "Her name's Bella. Bella? Say hi." 

Bella kicked up her paws causing Melissa to break out into giggles. Aaron laughed along with her until he noticed where he was and what he was supposed to be doing. 

He cleared his throat, but he couldn't control the smile that threatened to appear on his face whenever he looked at the monitor. 

"Hello?"

"Well, it's nice to know that your phone works." 

"Aww, did someone miss me?"

"You were supposed to call me..."

"I was? I was! Oh crap! I'm so sorry about that."

"It's going to take a lot more than that, Hayes." 

"Hayes? We're on last name basis now? What happened to love and Christine? You're actually mad at me."

"Yes."

"What if I make it up to you?"

"How?"

"I'm all yours for the next two weeks."

"Deal." 

"Eager much?"

"......"

"Jase?"

"We don't spend enough time together. I can't believe I'm actually jealous of my brother and his mate."

"Eliana... Her name is Eliana and my name is Natalie, love. Remember that."

"Duly noted."

"Call me later, I have class."

"Bye."

"Woah! Back up." 

Valerie stared at Danielle clearly shocked at what she had just heard. Danielle brushed passed her and she quickly grabbed her arm. 

"Where are you going?" She asked. "You can't just lay something like that on me and then run."

Danielle pulled her arm out of Valerie's grasp and glared at Valerie. Valerie sighed and took a couple of steps back. She knew what Danielle was about to. It's what she always did when she felt vulnerable. She was going to throw up another one of her walls and say a whole bunch of things that she knew the girl would regret saying as soon as she left.

"Forget everything I just said, okay? I clearly wasn't thinking." 

"Then why did you say it?" 

"I said it because..." Danielle paused for a second before she continued. "I..do love you, Valerie. A lot. It wasn't just pretend for me. The things I said to you weren't for jokes. I thought that you felt the same for me, but then I heard about what happened. I saw what happened and now I can't help, but think that I'm an idiot."

"You are an idiot, Dani. I was drunk and I was stupid. Believe me if I had been sober, I never would have touched her." Valerie explained, walking towards Danielle. She slowly turned Danielle's face back towards her. "Look at me, Dani. I love you too, you idiot."
