Generally I am loving how I am feeling about what I’ve been creating. Going from tracing their photos directly to using more general poses and drawing outfits/details on top in 6 months is crazy to me personally. While I in no way think I have mastered anything, I am grateful that this phandom has given me the creative burst to draw as much as I have and grow my figure drawing skills.

Despite having a literal BFA I did not spend much time on figures, instead I focused on sculpture/contemporary art and graphic design. Because I only took 1 subpar life drawing class I have never really been confident enough to try creating fanart from scratch, but for whatever reason this felt easier and approachable and now I may try doing something outside this fan space.
