some days are really hard and it can be difficult to understand why. but usually its probably because my blood is haunted

i know people like to dismiss it as a strawman but there are absolutely people on here who spend so much time in niche online spaces that they do not have a proper grip on the material reality of how some of the most marginalized people are treated and spoken about in "the real world" so to speak. some of these people are teenagers, and them i have more sympathy for. not so much the adults who they are rbing and likely getting those opinions from, however.

basically if you are 16 years old and on tumblr dot com, i highly recommend unfollowing the person on your dash who spends most of their time getting angry at trans women who are a little too feminist for their taste, it'll do you a lot of good
