DISCLAIMER: what I am gonna say is NOT adressed at any of my mutuals or anyone specific.

But since this whole mess started in Paris there is a very strange energy in this fandom. There are some posts that have this undertone I absolutely do not like. It feels like some people are just 1 step away from turning Hudson into the villain and blaming him for this clownshow.

Some people say "he gives me the ick now" or "fame got to his head" or " he is playing the Hollywood game ".

And on the surface it may look like this. Not for me, but I understand what people mean.

So I think its very important that people who have this feelings about him now have to consider something :

He is most likely in the closet.

And closeting is a very painful thing.

And closeting means that the person who is closeted, has to do/ is advised to do things that he does not like or that may look absolutely questionable from the outside.

But the closeted person does these things- to protect themselves and their real partner. To have a career. Because unfortunatly Hollywood is still a very homophobic place. And our world in general as well.

Does the person likes to do these things? Absolutely not.

Closeting is a very painful thing for the person who is closeted. It can be a very traumatic experience. And this is not me babying them or being parasocial.

Watch documentaries about people who came out of the closet: Cara Delevigne, Lance Bass, George Michael, Ricky Martin, Kristen Stewart.

They all said the same thing: you cannot be queer in the entertainment industry. The people with power will ALWAYS say, you cannot come out. And threaten you with making sure you will never get any job again,IF you come out. They all talked about the pain and the trauma they experienced.

So the next time people get angry at Hudson for doing all these things we have seen in the last weeks, I want them to remember:

Its the hardest for him. HE has to lie. HE has to live a double life. HE has to live with the fear of being outed. HE is the one " hurting" his real partner ( I am absolutely sure, Connor knows about everything and everything is completly fine between the two of them, but its still not a nice thing to see your partner with another person or knowing your partner sees you with another person).

So maybe we can all give him a little grace .

Yes, I roll my eyes too , but I know that behind every clownshow, there is a lot of sadness. And pain. And stress. And hurt.

okay, today’s readings decided to behave like one long group chat where every spread picks up exactly where the previous one left off. i asked how h was feeling, how he felt about c, how c was feeling, how he felt about h, and finally checked their shared energy. apparently, the cards took that as an invitation to tell one single, ridiculously coherent story from five different angles (maybe eight…).

h’s general reading introduces the problem, his reading about c reveals who it is connected to, c’s general energy shows the emotional consequences on his side, his reading about h answers what he is waiting for, and the shared energy basically looks at both of them and says, “yes, you are anxious about the same thing, still attached, and still trying to find your way back to a safer place.”

so let’s connect all the dots because, once again, their cards are not merely complementing each other. they are finishing each other’s sentences while these two men privately overthink the exact same situation.

once again, i pulled their cards separately, asked different questions, and somehow ended up with one continuous story because apparently h and c’s decks also refuse to experience anything independently.

h’s general reading starts with mountain + lilies + mice + man + book. basically, he is trying very hard to look calm and mature while internally being stressed, blocked, and eaten alive by his own thoughts. very peaceful. very relaxed. absolutely nothing happening here!

so the general reading says:

this is almost the opposite of his reading about c. with c, h had stars, child, key, rider, and sun: hope, a new beginning, a solution, movement, and warmth. with k, he has distance, stress, private tension, caution, confusion, and an obstacle.

h appears emotionally withdrawn and drained by unresolved private discussions. he wants the situation handled peacefully, but remains cautious and uncertain about how to overcome the larger obstacle.

he is not rejecting change. he is simply saying:

the anchor shows that c has not emotionally moved away. the coffin shows that he wants the present pattern to end, not necessarily the bond. the letter makes communication essential, while garden + clover shows that even a small public change could help create a new opportunity between them.

so c’s side is basically:

Alright it has been awhile since I last posted a reading but I am back! I have missed reading on the boys and their connection. Today’s reading is focused solely on their connection as of right now and future energy if something that has happened recently present itself then that is that but I will not go in depth on those things. This is only about their connection and the energy surrounding it. Nothing else. If you all want me to read on something specific my asks are always open! Now time to get into the reading.

What is the energy around Hudson and Connor’s connection right now?

Ethereal Bloom Deck

Queen of Wands- They both hold an independence and confidence within themselves and their connection. Courage and confidence are building in them as they move toward the future. They are gaining insight and knowledge of their situation that will prevail any negativity that might be thrown their way.
