Wanted to do an ‘about me’ post that I’ll probably edit over time, and wanted to add here for context about my page:
- I’ve been practicing witchcraft for as long as I can remember. My major influences are all family history related: Irish Gypsy (yes, we use that term to describe ourselves, and I won’t be offended if you use that term when talking abt me), Viking, Appalachia, and Catholicism (saints and angels).
- I do mostly divination, candle spells, sigil work, banishing, protection, and manifestation.
- I don’t follow the Three-fold Law. My personal philosophy is that if you try to manifest or do a spell that goes against destiny and/or free will, then karma will punish you by essentially doing the reverse of what you want.
- I won’t appropriate other spiritual cultures, but if my friends who practice those things gift me something that they want me to use (for example, I have friends that practice Voodoo and Hoodoo) I’ll use the items they’ve gifted me.
- the Hudcon of it all: their energy really drew me in, which is why I read abt them and do protection spells for them (they both desperately need protection bc ppl are batshit). I believe they are soulmates and are destined to be together in every lifetime, and any time they don’t end up together, fate puts their souls into another life to try again. As a reader, I am not one to get smug if I’m right abt a reading, or upset if I’m wrong. I very much do my readings from a clinical point of view, and with the understanding that things are not set in stone, and destiny and free will are always going to be there.
- If you send me nasty anons or anons where you’re clearly spamming every reader or hudcon blog on here, I’ll block you without answering. Remember that tumblr blocks your account even if you’re using anon, so decide if that weird message is really worth it.
- I very much feel that there are some readers on here that are not doing their readings from an honest place. They are letting their personal bias influence their energy, they act mysterious for no reason, get upset when they’re wrong, and act like they are god when they’re right. I have no desire to talk abt those particular readers or analyze their readings, so if you send me messages abt them I just won’t respond.
- I love to do witchcraft and card reading book recommendations, especially for ppl who are just starting out with their craft and don’t know where to begin, so never hesitate to message me with questions abt witchcraft or card reading. I’m always happy to answer and provide recommendations on books, tools, and cards.
- I’m also on twitter and have the same name on there. I’m very active on there for fandom but active on here for card readings and other witch stuff. My readings and explanations will only ever be on tumblr.
