Evedity

I think this movie I guess to call we did not exactly what the Fandom wanted. From a story point position I think they did a great job for wrapping this up in 90 mins. But what we were really missing is aziracrow. We got alot of "confession" sorts of things but it didn't go as deepest we wanted.

Personally I am not against the ending but we don't see them get that eternity they both ever so wanted. I think the writers wanted these two to show their appreciation to humanity than to themselves. Not a bad take but we wanted these two to be happy without sacrifice but.. perhaps that was never on the cards.

Good omens was unfairly punished by Prime cause of Neil Gaimen (F*ck him). While removing him from the show was warranted I dont think the art should suffer. Especially since this is mostly Terry Prachet's story. Sometimes its really hard to separate a creator from the art but a large part of art appreciated today was created or the ideas started by people who suck! But yet we expand and change the art into something better. Good omens if not punished so heavily would have been sent out in a much more satisfying ending than what we got. Even if it was the same plot.

So that's my two sense but.. let me get to the part of my post where we can wrap up this story better as a random.

So let me go back to that idea of Eternity. Its alluded when Crowley tries to get Aziraphale to go off together. This might be a reach but stay with me!

Aziraphale and Crowley will die (so sad) but what if God didn't totally purge the plans of the before earth? Stay with me. God basically a writer of humanity. Sure she created a godless universe but a true writer has another passion project right?

Perhaps god never completely got rid of the old plot and instead created a small universe of all the old humans to watch. God can't get bored right? Crowley and Aziraphale die and then appear into this eternity version of earth. No god or heaven of hell but everyone who was erased is back. So is the Bentley and the bookshop. Very important to stay these two have all their memories including the mortal life they led together. They don't die or necessarily really age. Just a standstill blimp of time that lasts forever.

This gives the GO audience more time with them. Allow Crowley and Aziraphale to connect and take in all they've been through. To be happy in the world they've saved so many times. Of course with Bently Crowley can show Aziraphale all their universe. So yes, they can have eternity.

Doubt Prime would put out a short to extend this goodbye but I am willing to write something like this on A03 if enough people want this.
