Guys I totally forgot about this little dude.

His name is Kylver.

And he’s a Runo x Dust shipchild.

I’ll talk about more info later, but yeah.

-Sketch and Eraser are complete opposites in all possible ways. However, they get along very well.

-Sketch’s abilities are more focused towards creating, while Eraser’s are more geared toward destruction.

-On the other hand, Sketch is not creative one bit, and often has artists block. Eraser is very creative, but has very few ways to express herself. This used to make them very frustrated with their abilities, but they found other ways to manage.

-Sketch loves instructions when it comes to creation, as it’s the only way he’s able to make things. Following a formula or tutorial that he can recreate every time makes him happy, and often helps him forget his artist's block.

-Eraser likes to express herself freely unlike Sketch, and her favorite way to do that is by spray painting. Not only does it give her the freedom to create, but she tends to destroy stuff in the process (graffiti)

-Sketch is more of a logical thinker, while Eraser is more imaginative 

-Sketch and Eraser share the same SOUL, but it was split in half during an unstable fusion process, causing two vessels to be made instead of one. Sketch and Eraser are each other's halves, and it’s the reason they are closer to one another than anyone else despite their major differences.

-The SOUL splitting process had many cons, as the twin’s HP was split in half as well. While originally having 10 HP, they each have 5 now. That might be more than an average Sans, but it also means they’ll lose stamina way more quickly, and they will have a harder time dodging.

Fun fact: She’s a transgender female.

Sans was devastated, but also saw this as an opportunity. He thought this was a chance to prove himself, to prove he could protect the flame. He was weak before, but after checking his stats he realized he was a lot stronger now. Despite everything, his plan had worked.

A few weeks after his AU was destroyed, Sans renamed himself Pyro and he encountered another guardian named Dream. Dream was a guardian of feelings, and more specifically the guardian of Positivity. He had years of experience and Pyro, who was 12 at the time, instantly looked up to him. Dream even agreed to train Pyro. 

However, Pyro quickly discovered that being a guardian is not at all what it seemed. After months of helping AU’s time and time again with minimal breaks, it was starting to take a toll on Pyro’s mental health. Eventually, he couldn’t take it anymore. 

“Why do we help them anyways? They give us nothing in return.” Pyro asked Dream one day.

“It is our duty to protect them, and we must do whatever it takes to fulfill our roles.” Dream replied calmly.

“What if I only care about protecting the flame? What if I don’t care about those AUs?” Pyro replied impatiently.

“The flame revolves around the AU’s, without them it would extinguish. By helping others, you are helping the flame. I understand that it’s hard, but this is the path of a guardian.” Dream’s voice was soft and sympathetic, and his positive aura would usually have cheered anyone up. Despite that, Pyro was still upset.

“But I want to choose my own path! Why can’t I at least do it my way?” This came out more whiny than he intended, but Pyro didn’t notice.

“Pyro, I don’t want to argue with you. If you think you can really live out your own life, then I won’t stop you. But remember you’re still a child, and I don’t want you falling down the wrong path.” Dream remained calm and collected as Pyro fumed.

“Fine then, I’m leaving.” Pyro snapped, and transported himself to another universe.

Pyro’s journey would only get worse from here.

It is well known throughout Underflame that there are countless alternative universes. However, this one serves a purpose. Not to entertain others. No, this AU was solely made to protect something. To disguise it and conceal it.

Yet we have to go back further to truly understand.

Starting at the very beginning of it all. Brand new AUs were growing more popular, and in the midst of that growth and popularity, a small fire began to burn somewhere in the multiverse. 

As the multiverse prospered and flourished, so did the fire. It burned endlessly, never going out, never dimming. 

The flame, now bigger, projected the spirit of the multiverse, including the inhabitants and the creators. If all AUs were destroyed, the flame would go out. The same thing would happen if all the creators lost interest. 

Since it has been burning for 860 years, and doesn’t show signs of extinguishing any time soon… It has been named “the Eternal Flame” in hope that the multiverse and the joys that go with it never end.

However…

Years after years the flame was left unguarded. Simply sitting in an uncharted area of the void. It may not be able to go out from normal methods, but few guardians and creators could destroy it with a moderate amount of effort. 

Its power could also be used for one’s own gain, no matter which anomaly uses it. This could lead to dangerous consequences, and so someone had to stop it before it began.

Two creators made an AU titled Underflame. It was the same as most, with the basic cast, and simple story. It surrounded the Eternal Flame, which was now located in King Asgore’s castle. Instead of killing humans to obtain their souls and leave the underground, the monsters killed the humans so they would not get to the eternal flame.

This AU was used as a coverup so those searching for the flame would not find it. The monsters were tasked with guarding the flame with their life, and they were trained for battle at a young age. 

Well…. Except for one.

Because Sans had minimal health, he wasn’t eligible to train. He just sat inside all day, doing basically nothing. He watched as his younger brother sparred with the other kids, something inside him hurt. Was he really destined for nothing? Did he really have no purpose?

He didn’t know until he was 12.

Sans and his class were taking a field trip to the king’s castle, and he already had a plan formed. He snuck off from the group, and entered the room with the eternal flame.

“It gives you powers right?” He mumbled to himself, approaching the fire. “Maybe it can make me stronger….”

Sans reached out to touch it and- 

BOOM!!!!

Sans was thrown back across the room, he remembered hitting his head on something and…

Nothing.

When sans woke up, his bones were dark gray and covered with layers of ash. His head was throbbing, and he was in some kind of blank void. Still dazed, he reached out to touch the part of his head that hurt. Rubbing it caused severe pain, but there was definitely a crack in his skull. It took Sans a few minutes to process what happened. 

His universe had been destroyed.

It was his fault.

Before he could even begin to mourn the loss of his brother, a surge of energy rushed through his soul. He immediately checked it, and saw that his soul was on fire.

Did he… absorb the flame?

Pyro redesign! Here’s the basics about him:

Age: 15

Role: Guardian/Outcode

Personality: He’s a brat. He takes what he wants, and will not hesitate to hurt people who get in his way. He doesn’t take his role as guardian seriously, and when he does do his job he does it wrong. He doesn’t fit into the role of villain, as he’s mainly looking out for himself. He helps people for his own gain and hurts people for his own gain. Other then that he doesn’t seek out interaction with other people. He’s more of an antihero overall.

Abilities: Pyro has fire magic and gaster blasters/bone magic. He also carries around a dagger that he uses for self defense. When he is fighting non-sans AUs, he heats the dagger up using fire magic so it can leave a burn when he stabs anything except ghosts and skeletons. He also has resistance to fire.

Weaknesses: Pyro is very scared of water, he stays as far away from it as he can. The reason behind this is that water weakens him and dims his power, and he doesn’t like to feel vulnerable. He also tends to get tricked easily, he did raise his guard after getting betrayed a few times, but it can still happen. He often denies help from others because like I said, he doesn’t like feeling vulnerable.

Backstory: Now I know some of you may be wondering “what is he the guardian of” “Is there a reason he dislikes being vulnerable?” “Was he always a brat?” “Who betrayed him?” All of these questions have detailed answers, which I will tell you in time. For now, I want his backstory to be a mystery.

Well my friend! As someone who has broken up with over 17 people (that’s what I counted there might be more tho) your best bet is to follow the CLB guide that I totally didn’t just now name. I’ve been using it for years and it’s how I keep my Ex’s as friends.

step 1. Communicate. Respectfully let your partner know what you need and why you want to break up. This is the better way to go rather then just saying ‘hey I want to break up’ and then just ghosting them.

Step 2. Listen. Remember it’s not always about you when you break up with someone. Listen to your partner and ask them what they need. If they need space, respect that. If they want to stop being friends, respect that too. But being polite and showing that you care is the best way to keep friends you’ve broken up with.

step 3. Break up. Find a common ground and come to an agreement before officially breaking up. That way there’s no confusion and it’ll be easier to communicate in the future.

I know it’s not always that simple, and some break ups are messy even with using these steps. But with my experience it works a lot of the time. Also don’t forget to apologize for breaking up even if you don’t mean it or don’t want to say it. If you say sorry, it will increase your chance of keeping the friendship. Idk why, it just does.
