,,,everytime i think of armada/legends of the microns starscream. i will always think of i thought i was an angel by utsu-p too cause. like. the song's meaning and his past desire share almost the exact traits and stuff. in my perspective and conclusion. i thought i was an angel by utsu-p is about a kid that thinks theyre special. different and unique from others like an angel. buuttt. as they grow older. they start to have the realization that theyre are actually worse than/worse at being normal than everyone else and struggling to handle life expectations while the illusion of their uniqueness disappears. on the other hand. starscream initially in the show wanted megatronsama to recognize his worth, seek megatronsama's respect and make megatronsama see him as a true warrior or a honorable warrior and also believes that it will happen. buuttt. megatronsama has an enooorrrrmooouuussss pride and has a perspective of where her men should respect and give in loyalty to her instead of like having mutual/equal respect to them ((thats atleast what i think cause i dont remember much of the show)). the following conclusion to this is that. megatronsama thinks starscream has self-driven deluding pride of him trying to overthrow and usurp megatronsama and. therefore starscream's belief in trying to make megatronsama respect or see him as a honorable warrior fades like how the narrator in i thought i was an angel's uniqueness fades. in the song miku is also tuned to be growling + have a gloomy voice and that gives me the idea of the narrator being both frustrated and resented while melancholic cause they realise they're worse than everyone else like how starscream experiences the same feelings as the narrator does in i thought i was an angel cause megatronsama wont recognize him as a honorable warrior
