Love, love, love this song.
Vine from Ed Sheeran Vocals
So, Iām finally supposed to graduate college but Iām too poor to afford to graduate. My life is a joke. Please help and support in any way, shape or form. If thatās by donating thank you soooo much, if itās by sharing the link thank you soooo much!! Any efforts in getting me to graduate is highly appreciated. āHi! My name is Shey and Iām a senior at the University of South Florida. Iām currently in my last semester of being an elementary education major and transitioning into teaching this coming August. At USF, elementary Ed majors intern full time leaving little to no room to work. Instead of having a job and working all weekend, I decided to focus on my coursework and my responsibilties as a teacher. The problem with this is that the money I have saved up and stretched out over the passed few months has dried up. The money that I am so desperately in need of will help me tie up any loose ends so that I can graduate on time. There are a few things I am still obligated to paying for before I cross that beautiful green and gold stage (Go Bulls!!). The first one is my Florida Teacher Professional exam which rounds up to $170. This is very important for Ed majors, itās been shared with us over and over again that there is no graduating if we do not take and pass the exam (Donāt worry, I know Iāll pass ). The next thing that I would need to pay for is my cap and gown, the cost for these two articles of clothing is $80. I also need to renew my online portfolio so that I can submit my final few assignments for undergrad. The program costs about $100. I do, however, have some great news! Iāve been hired by an amazing principal to gain my first year teaching experience at her school. All she needs is proof that I passed my other teaching exams, which I did. The score reports I need to order to show my principal that Iāve passed my exams add up to $50. With graduation less than 6 weeks away, it seems impossible to come up with the money⦠Doesnāt mean I wonāt stop trying. These donations wonāt only be valuable to me in a sense that I can finally graduate and be an actual adult. This is important to me because Iām afraid to lose the position offered to me at a school, in a poverty stricken community, where I know I can impact many young lives in a positive way. This is important to me because I can gratefully accept any donation and extend the kindness towards my students. Thank you in advance, I truly canāt put into words how much your donation means to me.ā

Dance With Me Tonight by Olly Murs
I have a thing for Olly⦠His style in music is just so DAMN. I also find the video really fun and cute.Ā
oh my god, how did I forget about this song?! all the feels. Still love the dancing near the end.
A Milli by Asher Roth
Story time: when Lilā Wayne came out with the song a milli, I hated it.. I was frustrated that rap music was as shitty as it was at the time and that song REALLY bothered me. Not too long after, Asher Roth (he was my fav at the time⦠I was obsessed) released this remix.. I cannot rap for shit, itās not for me unless Iām in love with a song, such as this one; naturally, I learned this song to the tee, backwards, upside down, and sideways.. Anyway, as time passed and years went by, I forgot about this song. A week ago yesterday, my best friend was over and I was going through my personal library, not spotify⦠Windows Media Player, oh yeah. Old school. And aaaaall the way at the bottom of my list was this song and I just stared at it in awe. So I playāmind you, itās been about 3 years since Iāve last heard this songā and I start rapping along like iām a fucking psycho. I didnāt skip a beat, I didnāt omit any words, I didnāt even have to think about it⦠the words came to me like water flows in a river⦠easy. I fucking love this song, it will always be one of my favorites. Itās so special to me. Even now, at 2 in the morning, I cannot stop myself from rapping loudly to Asher Roth.. Iām so happy that this song exists.
Dude, this song is still my shit.
The 1975 Listening Party For āLove Meā At 107.7 The End
New favorites!!!
So I realize itās been a super long time since Iāve posted about what I have been listening to and all my absolute favorites. Guess being a decent student took precedence. As of recently, Iāve been really feeling some hip-hop and sub-genres of soul, I use the term hip-hop very loosely because I know there are some shit artists out there that try to file their rap under hip-hop. Also, the sub-genres are all over the place and Iāll only be listing one or two that I really love. Some others listed donāt fall under either, I just really dig them. Songs are linked.
Kevin Garrett: I think he is an absolutely amazing artist, he falls under blue-eyed soul and I love him. Everything he sings gives me the feels. By the way, RefuseĀ and ColoringĀ make me melt. I just do not know how to explain the feeling those two songs give me.Ā
Fast CarĀ (Cover) by Ryan Montbleau ft Tall Heights: With subtle changes and the feeling of authenticity remaining with the song. The artists did a great job reinventing a song I once loved but forgot about. I think it does Tracy Chapman justice and now that I am older, the song is much more relatable than when I was young just enjoying the melody.
J. Cole: What can I say about this man? He is a fantastic story teller. I love, love, love, love that he raps about real life. Many things he actually experience or makes relatable and the positive vibe that he gives off is just amazing. When listening to his newest album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive (which I am so fucking obsessed with), I feel like Iām reading a book or watching a movie. Vivid, real, fun, positive, love so much love exuded from him. Note to SelfĀ (In love with this track.. obsessed with the ENTIRE thing)Ā & Wet Dreamz
Chance the Rapper: As a person that hasnāt been a fan of rappers in a long time (excluding J. Cole and a short list of others), this guy is one of my favorite lyricists as of right now. Heās really, really good at what he does and just listening to how he plays with words and rap about things more than just women, money and earthly possessions is cool as hell. Examples of his coolness:Ā Sunday Candy, ConfidentĀ and Baby Blue.
Hotline Bling by William Singe: Itās literally the shit, thatās it. This cover is hella lit.Ā
Walking in the Wind by One Direction: First off, I personally love their latest album, which is their pre-hiatus album, Iāll try to not talk about the entire album but... Itās good as fuck. But this song... God, itās good. I honestly donāt even know what to say about this song. It just makes me happy, itās such a feel good song. Much like the song says, very bittersweet. I love that the song isnāt about breaking up, itās about being apart from one another for a while but not forever. I think my favorite thing is that I see this song being a shout out to their fans (much like others on the album) and itās just sweet, they are literally sayingĀ āthis is not the end, Iāll see your face again.ā This song just makes me happy and reminds me to never give up on anything regardless of the circumstances.
You Are Enough by Sleeping At Last: I listen to this song maybe twice a day. I personally donāt feel down often but as a twenty something I catch myself second guessing or questioning a good chunk of things I do. With all of my friends being twenty somethings, they also doubt many things. My best friend with anxiety doubts everything she does. This song literally, hear me out here. This song literally takes away any lingering negative thoughts. Cause I am fucking enough, this song reminds me every day. Yeah, sometimes I cry to it but only because I agree. I am fucking enough. I canāt stress this enough, this is my ultimate feel good song.Ā āHey, you are the shit, donāt worry about whatever is happening. You are the shit, youāll figure it out. Life goes on.ā
Kehlani: Fuun, she is fuuun, I listen to Kehlani when I feel like smiling and dancing. This doesnāt mean she doesnāt have talent. Sheās good at what she does, I like that she is diverse with what she chooses to put out into the world. You can have a song as fun and lovey dovey as FWU to a song as positive and inspiring as Bright. She also has a song which features Chance the Rapper, which I love of course, The Way.Ā
Lay It Down Slow By Spiritualized: There are some songs out there that you like because of everything about it. Every single instrument, the voice, the mood, the emotion, the lyrics, the melody, the instrumentation, the instrument solos, the fragments of time where there is nothing but the voice of the singer(s), the feelings you are suddenly overcome by, the harmonies. Just, fuck! You know?! Thatās this song.
Do You Remember by Jarryd James: This super soulful singer is hashtag relatable, ānah mean? Lyrics, lyrics, lyrics, lyrics, lyrics, lyrics. Also, the fucking music behind this song is lit as fuck. Like, wow I love this song. This song is a hit, not on the radio but in my personal, yet imaginary Hall of Fame. Say there were two hits that dropped at the same time, one with these same lyrics and different music; the other song with different lyrics but the same music, I would have enjoyed both songs a lot. But together, I can die happily. Also, the amount of dancing provoked by this song is ridiculous... I love it.Ā
Josephine by Ritual & Lisa Hannigan: āJosephine,Ā I'll never be good enough..Ā I want to be, let me try it once more.ā Itās a beautiful song, thatās it. This song is my aesthetic; the music, especially at the very end, is absolutely fucking beautiful. Love the instruments. Loooove the voices, love the emotion behind the song. Great song, great song.Ā
UGH! by The 1975: Not even going to explain myself, everything about this song is perfect... EVERYTHING! Iāve been in love with this band for over two years now and this coming from their sophomore album makes me so happy and I am so looking forward to the album release. Love love love anything produced by these guys. My personal legends.
