Even if the girl is from a different country, if she knows some Japanese, she’s fairly sure she should be familiar with English, too. “What hotel are you staying at?”

˙ Though she is quick to follow up with a, “What language are you used to speaking? English?” Though her knowledge of language isn’t something she tends to brag about, it’s not something she hides either; whatever the girl normally speaks, she’s fairly sure she can speak it.

“ Uh... Give me a moment. ”

Her hand reaches for a piece of paper inside her bag, a receipt from the hotel that she hands to the other girl. She could just say what hotel it was, but she wasn’t all that certain about what the right pronunciation was for the kanji that conformed the name.

“ Well, I live in America so we could say I’m used to English, though my first language is Spanish. I’ve been studying Japanese for a while too, but it’s my first time actually coming here and... It’s served to make realize I still don’t know enough. ”

She shifted in her chair to a more comfortable position, her elbows now on the counter and her chin rested on her hand. “Ok how about this? Give me a cup of what you think it’s the best thing you can prepare. I’ll trust you, since I already have your word that you won’t poison me.”

Winking back at him, she can’t help but chuckle again. “Oh my, what a charmer~ Unfortunately that’s not really my name. It’s just the nickname I’m more comfortable with.”

SO…. My cast got taken off earlier than expected, but that didn’t solve the issue at all. On the contrary, I have even more problems now. Turns out I need therapy for my arm to work properly again, and if the therapy doesn’t work, I’ll need surgery. I’ve been very busy and twice as stressed with all of this… I swear I don’t mean to abandon any of my blogs, I actually miss being online and roleplaying and all that good stuff, but I just currently lack the brains for it… I’ve been barely writing even on Discord, all of this is just really hard for me - specially because I still have to go to work 8 hours a day even in my current condition - and I just really don’t have any energy or motivation or anything. I’m sorry… I promise I’ll be back on here as soon as I can. (PS.: I’ll reblog this on all my other rp blogs so everyone knows what’s going on)

So... I know I said my hiatus would be just until last weekend, but... Things happened, and now I have to deal with a broken arm ;;; It’s painful and hard, so focusing on anything else is nearly impossible. My cast is taken off on June 11th.
