“I would appreciate that, I think Reshiram might like to learn it.” She can’t help but give a small smile at his offer. True she doesn’t really battle with the legendary, her and Reshiram not wanting to put an opponent at an unfair disadvantage. Even so, she doesn’t see a reason the dragon type would be opposed to learning the move.
“I don’t think I really got the chance to thank you before,” She starts, thinking back to the conversation they had before she had headed for the league. “Our conversation we had before everything happened, it helped.” She’d been so scared of failing, of letting them all down. So much pressure had placed on her shoulders, and there wasn’t much anyone could do to help her with it. “You and the other gym leaders’ support meant a lot to me back then.”
The last time he had gotten the chance to sit down and talk with the hero of the Unova region felt all too long ago. Perhaps it was the endless days of sitting behind paperwork and challenging young trainers to go beyond their limits that worsen his concept of time. Regardless of the reason, he stands before Hilda, being more than willing to teach her a pwoer dragon-type move to further promote her journey as a pokemon trainer.
His brow quirks as there's a hint of surprise in his expression. "You're welcome, of course. I'm glad I was able to help you through that moment. I know it couldn't be easy for you then, but I'm glad we as gym leaders and your friends could help you when you needed it most."
There's a soft laugh now that he thinks about it. "To be honest, I was looking forward to taking them down. Though dire, our determination and love for our pokemon would defeat anything they threw at us."
"Whenever you're ready, we can go to the gym to practice this move. I will warn you, it can be rather destructive and you should prepare yourself for that."
