Happy child! Twinyards who stop sharing a bed once they hit 4 years old or so but share a room until they’re at least 7-8. Aaron rolling out of his space ship-themed bed to wander over to his brother’s race-car one, shaking Andrew until he finally wakes up. The two holding hands as they walk down the hallway towards the bathroom to go brush their teeth w their matching tooth brushes and then it’s downstairs to greet their sweet Momma Bee who asks them to help her crack the eggs open for breakfast. The boys all smiles and sparkles in their eyes while they help and ‘fuss’ at each other but really it’s all just in good fun. Watching cartoons together while they eat breakfast, ‘arguing’ which teenage mutant ninja turtle is the best (of course Aaron says Donnie and of course Andrew says Raph) and then getting dressed and ready for the bus, getting twin kisses to each of their cheeks from Bee before she walks them out and their little orange, indoor-outdoor cat walks them down the gravel driveway to the bus. The boys pick flowers with every step to give to their crushes on the bus (Katelyn likes daises and Neil likes weeds #Andrew hardly has to try >> Andrew ALSO once snuck THE CAT on the bus for Neil & that made the little redheaded boy a lot more ecstatic but of course Bee had to be called to the school to get the cat once the bus driver dropped all the kids off and noticed lmao) and of course they can’t share classes but the twins play together at recess and swap stickers they got during the day and they see each other at lunch and sit side-by-side and fling food at each other and ask each other “I wonder what big cousin Nicky is up to in fifth grade?” and of course they try to sneak to the fifth grade halls to try to find him but as it turns out, Nicky and all the other cool older kids have gone on a field trip for the day and the Twinyards kick their feet a lil and pout because they want to go on a trip, too; it better not have been the zoo that Nicky went to without them, he KNOWS they love it—- and all of this is just PART of a day in the lovely lil childhoods that they should have had because they both deserved so much better 🧡

Btw the moment Neil became vice captain and was required to do pre and post game interviews was the day wymack genuinely considered turning in his resignation letter

People find it easy to hate Kevin Day because he’s an imperfect victim. No he’s not whimpering and kind. No he didn’t prioritise someone else’s survival over his own. No he didn’t rebel and chose to adapt to survive. He isn’t any less worthy of empathy for being “a coward” or for any of the above things.
