I want to show that how some symbols in this vision are bad omens for Daenerys.

I fully expected Sansa to be Queen in the end. Her learning arc is about politics, organizing, administration, how to earn loyalty and love, how to be fair, so it stands to reason that she will have an influential position at the end.

"I will remember, Your Grace," said Sansa, though she had always heard that love was a surer route to the people's loyalty than fear. If I am ever a queen, I'll make them love me.   (ACOK, Sansa VI) 

"You," Ned said, kissing her lightly on the brow, "will marry a king and rule his castle, and your sons will be knights and princes and lords and, yes, perhaps even a High Septon."         

Arya screwed up her face. "No," she said, "that's Sansa." She folded up her right leg and resumed her balancing. Ned sighed and left her there.    (AGOT, Ned V).

So, it is all right there... The learning arc, the foreshadowing ....

I must admit though, that I expected Sansa to be Queen of Westeros at Jon’s side, and the finale got me by surprise in this. I expected them to rule from Winterfell or maybe another place where the Old Gods held sway. I did not expect her to end up as Queen in the North.

Maybe it was my Jonsa goggles that duped me, because it makes perfect sense. Sansa’s arc imitates Ned’s journey to his becoming Lord of Winterfell. Jon Snow says it: “Winterfell belongs to my sister Sansa.”

Even if you think about Robb’s will, that pushed Jon in front of Sansa.... Jon is disqualified because he is not really Ned’s son and then Sansa comes into play. It is just that I expected Bran to be Lord of Winterfell and advisor to king Jon Snow and queen Sansa Stark.

But all in all, Sansa becoming not only Queen, but the Queen in the North was always foreshadowed.

Antis just don’t get their minds wrapped around that, because they still expect Sansa to die.

Anyway, it is so funny that the Antis claim that Sansa is a favourite of D&D.... If any of the writers favoured her, that was Bryan Cogman, but favouring a character does not mean that you can just change the arc of said character. GRRM has given the gist of the ending to D&D and although there might be some minor differences, Sansa as Queen in the North is too big to be any different in the books.

And Sansa a favourite? How? They gave her a rape arc that is not even there in the books (and hopefully won’t be) just so that the character can grow. Instead of showing how intelligent a player she has become they just lazily let people say that about her. They treated the character quite badly, sorry, not sorry, and not only about the Ramsay arc.....

I mean the whole of season 5 was such a clusterfuck already. The scheming of Littlefinger that made no sense, to reduce Sansa’s agency again after they had upped it in season 4... Then they served her a wrong turn by never explaining why she did not tell Jon about the Knights of the Vale. And then they fucked up the catfight between her and Arya with the Winterhell plot... To be quite honest, I am still astounded that the Sansa fandom did not lose faith in her during season 7 (and we were right). So they invented a rape arc for Sansa, they let it look like she wanted Jon to die in the Battle of the Bastards, they let it look like she wanted to kill Arya an absolute fan favourite, and they let her argue feudal customs against a very innocent looking little boy.... How is that playing favourites?

If anything it is Sansa’s compelling character in the books and the talent of Sophie, that showed her as a resilient and multi-faceted character that helped Sansa fans stick to her and defend her, when D&D did everything to throw shade on her.

You know, as good story telling goes, I have nothing against suspecting a character of not so ulterior motives. But D&D did worse: they never explained, not why Sansa did not tell Jon about the Knights of the Vale, not when she saw through Littlefinger’s schemes in season 7 and not why she thought it was a good move to tell Tyrion about Jon’s parentage. Sansa fans came up with good explanations for all that on their own.... This is not what you do with a favourite character.

If you want to look what D&D did with a favourite character you don’t have to look far. Just look at Arya.... Her actions, even if somewhat questionable were never depicted as such. She threatened to take Sansa’s face ffs in the Winterhell plot and people were cheering her on... They gave her a last minute love interest (as much as I like Gendrya I think it won’t happen in the books, because Arya is too young. It might happen in an epilogue). It is a disservice to Arya’s arc as well.

Anyway, I could go on ranting about this, but I’ll stop now....

TLDR: Sansa was always meant to be Queen, and to call her a fav of D&D is such a laughable claim, that I don’t even know where to begin...
