Mirana blinked and chuckled to herself, the patina apparent. Poor Razor….

“I suppose there’s no way I could help you with that, could I?” she said softly, doing her best to finish up her own work as she spoke, her tresses pulled back in a loose, messy bun. War was hell, even on the hair of the Priestess of Selemene. “Is your whole body statically charged, or just what’s inside?” She’d been curious about Razor since introductions. There were those such as Zeus, who were of the storms and lightning, but not otherworldly, and then there was Razor. If Mirana was to be a voice for a Goddess, she was to learn about others the best that she could.

Razor examined his arm. The surface glowed faintly in the darkness, much paler than usual. But then again, it had been a long day.

"I’d prefer it if you just throw me the cloth,” he said. “ I'm pretty tired, so if you touched me right now probably wouldn't kill you, but I doubt you’d enjoy the experience.”

He leaned against a nearby tree. “No offence, but do you often offer to rub down people you just met, though? If so I’m surprised more of that blood you’re cleaning off isn’t yours...”

“Tough enough that it can be licked by the flames of hell and not just be untouched, be healed by them!” Lucifer boomed the words with pride. “I doubt your measly lightning would be too much for me,” he continued cockily. “In fact, perhaps we should make a wager of it…Rrnyes! How about if you zap me and I have no response then you do submit to me, but if you elicit a response from me I do as you will.” The Doombringer was sure that he would win the wager easily. His body had gone through so much, surely a little lightning couldn’t hurt?

"A ... wager?" said Razor, surprised. Everyone knew not to make deals with demons. Bets, even less so.

And he balked at the prospect of having to uncover any part of himself to that sneering hulk, if he lost. The warden held more than a little suspicion that he would be torn apart and humiliated utterly if he did.

Then again, Doom's comments stung more than he cared to admit. Ever since the war started, it had been made painfully clear on several occasions that there were far greater storms out there than him, powers that he could never hope to reach. He was made for his purpose in the netherworld but no more, like a machine designed for one specific task.

To lord it over the king of all hells would soothe that realisation some, no doubt. And truth be told, all else aside, the demonic bastard could use some humbling and Razor was keen to deliver it.

"An interesting proposition..." he said at length, trying to decide whilst appearing nonchalant.

" But you know, Lucy, I'm really starting to think you have a tick list of everyone in the war, titled "People to Bed"! And what limits are there on this submission of you to me , if I won? "

Battles were always hard on the Princess. She saw herself as a keeper of the stars, a peaceful protector of the Moon and all that Selemene reflected upon. But she was made to spill blood on this day, and it left her, and all of her gear, rather bloodstained. Though she remained mostly unharmed, Mirana felt as if she had still lost the battle.

Sitting by the side of the river she sat, Sagans saddle in her lap as she cleaned off the dried blood with a rag. The feline himself sat nearby, patting at the current. As she sat, she heard a faint noise, looking up to see an ally.

“You fought well, my friend,” she said calmly. “How are you holding up?”

The material plane certainly was much messier than Razor was used to. Today had done nothing but illustrate that, with several close, exhausting fights. The day had left him more than speckled all over with the unpleasant byproducts that resulted from such events as someone next to you suddenly cutting someone else in half with a giant axe.

Not only that, but by the time the battle was won, the stuff had dried fast to a stubborn patina that now wouldn't come off with any amount of scrubbing with handfuls of grass.

Why even do such a thing in order to kill someone? A well aimed instant jolt from his whip would do the job the same, and you didn't have to pick thankfully unidentifiable pieces of your former enemy out of your clothes afterwards.

But then again, the longer he spent here the more it seemed like these people would find any excuse to spray their various bodily fluids everywhere.

Which is why he'd been watching with quiet interest the woman's slow movement of cloth over leather, the red liquid washing away into the river current. He looked up as she noticed him.

"Hm? Oh, thank you," he said. "It was difficult, but we got there in the end. I was just wondering if I can use that cloth after you?"
