Okay can we please talk about how whenever Halsey meets a fan she always gives them a compliment? In literally every single video I’ve watched of her meeting fans, she’s always like “your hair is so pretty!” “Your outfit is so cute!” “You’re so gorgeous!” “Your makeup looks so nice!” Like, she knows that a lot of us have low self esteem and/or are battling/recovering from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self harm, or that maybe we don’t have such nice lives at home. She stops and takes the time to always compliment us, and honestly do you know how much of an impact it has to know that your idol likes a part of you that maybe you didn’t like before? Halsey is literally so fucking important and appreciates us so much and I really really hope that she realizes that we appreciate her every bit as much too.
