Imagine demanding an apology from a genocide survivor for not 'liking' the people who slaughtered his entire family. tbh Sasuke didn’t need a redemption arc because he wasn’t the problem the system was. He was right about the revolution, right about the village, and right about the Kage. Redemption is for people who screw up, not for the only guy who was right all along. You don't need to 'atone' for having a functioning brain in a village run by gaslighters or for trying to fix a trash system.

Exactly! Sasuke was justified in his anger, rage, and distaste for the village. The huge wells of trauma he experienced can't be understated. Also, he was constantly manipulated by people who wanted to use him. I'm so tired of all the "Sasuke was a terrorist!" Bs his haters throw around. No, he wasn't. He never killed any innocents. He just wanted justice, and people who hate him literally just fell for the shows' pro-military propaganda. How could anyone malign a genocide survivor, I have no idea.

I have a theory/headcanon about that cupboard, but I fear folks might get the pitchforks out 😕
