My friends and I went to Shedd Aquarium today and by the sharks, we noticed this tank overhead where a school of fish were circling. We were all taking photos and videos of them when this loud ass dude slides into our circle of four, literally shoulder to shoulder with me, and says “wooooah” super fucking loud. I was annoyed, because there’s nothing worse than loud men, and was about to complain to my friends that this man came over, practically yelled at the fish, then moved onto the next tank when one of them stared at me and said, “That was Taehyung!” We all freaked out and froze and watched him take a picture in front of one of the tanks before he moved onto the next room. We waited for a few minutes to give him time to get through then followed into the room, we had been waiting to get into it to see the sharks, and walked in to see him watching them. He was with a manager or a friend and a bodyguard who was mean mugging everyone who breathed in his direction. He was damn sure Tae was going to see all the fish he wanted to. I appreciate him.
Anyways, we couldn’t focus on the fish afterwards but it was fine because the sharks were the last things we wanted to see. We had been there for about 3 or 4 hours already. So we walked out of the aquarium and Namjoon tweeted a picture of him in front of a wall which was literally *right* there. So obviously we all took pictures doing the same pose and same silly grin in front of the same wall.
But yeah. That was my brush with celebrity. I’m so proud of army that were there because several were freaking out with us on the front steps but no one tweeted where he was until it was closing. Anyways, I hope he and Namjoon enjoyed the aquarium. The dolphin show was super cute and we touched sturgeons and they feel slimy but it was an Experience.
Here’s the video I was taking when Tae came up next to me. You can’t see him but you can hear his loud ass, only talk in caps lock voice saying “WOOOOAH”.

namjoon giggles. “i’d say yoongi-hyung has the legs for it.”
yoongi cracks an eye open and shoots a half-hearted glare at namjoon. “yah.”
namjoon puts his hands up in defeat, flashing a grin at seokjin as he takes another hit off their second blunt of the afternoon. “i’m just kidding, hyung.”
“pfffffth, no you’re not.” smoke curls out of seokjin’s mouth as he speaks, eyes glittering with contained mirth as he offers the blunt in yoongi’s direction. “admit it yoongi-yah, you definitely have the legs and the adorable knobby knees to pull a kilt off.”
yoongi waves away the offer and seokjin shrugs, passing it back to namjoon who takes it with a contented hum. yoongi has more to say on the subject, words on the tip of his tongue, but his brain feels delightfully fuzzy and his limbs are heavy and it’ll take just a little too much effort for him to get a full sentence out so he doesn’t even bother. he just lets his one eye slide back closed as he floats in a general state of bliss, sinking into the couch cushions.
he doesn’t know how much time has passed when a thought floats up into his head. a thought about a hidden little something in the back of the sock drawer, a thought that gets twisted around the idea of a kilt. it seems like years before he can work the thought out into a full sentence (though it’s probably only been 2 minutes, fucking weed brain), and he just lets it flop out of his mouth like a dead fish.
“bet that jockstrap would feel nice under a skirt.”
and boy, does that sentence land exactly like a dead fish.
