The Creation of Essential Boss Babe, LLC

All Summer long I found myself putting together all these great ideas for Essential Boss Babe. Took time to whip out a notebook, pen, and cellphone; began to jot down every idea that popped into my head. Scheduled time to do some research and thought to myself, self you need to make sure to C.Y.A., for those of you who have no idea what C.Y.A. stands for, it's a very short acreman for very important words, "Cover Your Ass". Starting a business is a lot of work! So although I began to plan and research ways to sell, what things to offer, branding and advertising and felt that, "oh yeah! I got this moment", you know this moment, we've all had it? that moment when you think you finally understand something you've been meaning to learn for... like... ever... So yeah! That moment.

Took time to research, "How to cover me legally?", "How to make Essential Boss Babe a legit Business?" "How to customize my logo?", "How much to spend?" and I made sure to save money to have m-o-n-e-y to cover business costs along the way. Although this is not my first rodeo owning businesses, in all honesty...My first two businesses were not legit businesses and when I say NOT Legit, I mean... it was an at-home business with NO LICENSE to sell, NOT REGISTERED, NOT TRADEMARKED and my planning started as time went on. Your girl...was not prepared it at all. You couldn't tell me anything though. As I became wiser it helped me grow through trial and error; however, now no one can tell me anything my businesses are flowing! I mean it too.

The best part about being a legit Business Owner is that being who I am and coming from where I come from (A Latina Woman, who is considered a minority from Spanish Harlem high poverty area); I have continued to beat the odds of being labeled a "statistic", within my community. Graduated with a few degrees under my belt, obtained a career and now I am a "Minority-Owned Business", I like to say, Majority because we as Women are ruling the World.

Moral of the story:

NO MORE DRESSING UP TO IMPRESS? WHAT!

My past couple of Months have been spent in between work, home and juggling being a wife and mother. No more date nights with my Husband, Happy Hours with Co-workers, Girlfriends and No more dining out with Family; everything has literally come to a complete halt. Who knew one Virus would be able to take over our daily routines and put a complete pause on this thing called Life? The new trend had instantly switched from dresses to jeans and sweats with the newest accessories called Face masks, hand sanitizer and gloves.

Staying at home is definitely the new thing. BUT who said, You have to stop dressing up and making yourself feel like the woman that you are? This is the reason for me creating Essential Boss Babe, an online one stop shop for your everyday self-care; a place to purchase affordable but beautiful Jewelry, Makeup and Accessories. Remember, Self-Care is the best Care.

Many of you or even possibly all of you have been considered Essential Workers without Essential Pay, why not splurge on yourself without feeling guilty? This pandemic has put all of us in a funk; it has changed the way we Think, Act and Dress. Shake off the funk and get back into the groove of being a better, sexier version of yourself. Although life has changed, it doesn't mean you should stop taking care of yourself.
