βHow avoiding the inner work can cause unwanted effects from our ritual work.. People will do every ritual in a book before doing what their spirits have been suggesting for the past 9 months and wonder why their magic doesnβt work or blows up in their faces.. There no substitute for making that hard decision and doing the difficult work. Our spirits, provide suggestions for our benefit - suggestions that would make our life easier. The more we avoid doing what is in our best interest and convince ourselves that spells will suffice, the more we push and fight against our higher selves - the more resistance we will meet in our environment. Spiritual tools assists with what is ALREADY in place; assist our needs, and facilitate a hard lessons when a hard lesson is required for our growth, what they arenβt are substitutes for inner work, for discipline, focus, effort, or follow through with difficult decisions. Spiritual tools do not lessen the effects of laziness, willful ignorance, and hard headedness in fact they can magnify those traits within us with unwanted results of our ritual work in attempts to show us, in that divine mirror, what is not working and what we need to change within ourselves to be more prosperous. When we are lazy, inconsistent, substitute inner work for quick fixes, are stubborn and refuse to consider the advice and implement the suggestions of our spirits - advice that would only help us, we block ourselves. When we choose money rituals over doing the inner work required to change our relationship with money like remove ourselves from situations that block our prosperity, we block ourselves. Taking easy way out with spells can backfire and blow up in our faces, WHY??? its supposed to. Why else would a person, already taking the easy route, take a moment to reconsider their approach - they wouldnβt and completely miss the blessing and long term results that come with they heavier lifting of inner work. All the dressed candles and spiritual oils in the world are no match for the chains we put on ourselves.β
