C'è una cosa che mi ha colpito e mi ha fatto riflettere su tutta questa storia

Qualche anno fa un ragazzo punk è stato investito da un giocatore di football bianco che guidava la cadillac di suo padre e quel ragazzo punk è morto perché sembrava diverso.

È tutta quella la questione.

Un ragazzo ne uccide un altro è chiaramente colpevole.. Sapete la sua colpa è inconfutabile,però indovinate dov'è oggi questo atleta americano... È in college!

La giuria ha sostenuto che quel punk meritava di morire perché aveva l'aspetto che aveva e così non è stato soltanto ucciso fisicamente ma anche moralmente in quel processo perché era stato messo sotto accusa il suo stile di vita,lui non indossava un capo firmato,non giocava a football e non studiava. Colui che lo ha ucciso ha ricevuto degli applausi all'esame per il diploma perché era una star sportiva... Il sogno americano,forte,normale e non ha mai fatto un giorno di prigione.

Allora chi incolpiamo?

Sapete tutti dicono troppa violenza..troppa violenza al giorno d'oggi. Ci dimentichiamo di tutte le guerre,della bibbia,di Shakespeare.

La violenza non è una novità. Ecco perché ho posto la domanda sul mio sito web. Ho chiesto è l'intrattenimento degli adulti a uccidere i nostri figli? O è l'uccisione dei nostri figli ad intrattenere gli adulti? Penso sia il tipo di domanda che oggi dovremmo porci e fatevi questa domanda ogni volta che vedrete delle pagine riprese da telecamere assetate di sangue sulle scene del crimine,ai funeral i e sui luoghi degli incidenti aerei. Sapete ora sono qui davanti a voi,mi state guardando e io mi vedo su un monitor. Ci sediamo davanti alla tv e noi siamo la tv. Noi siamo una copia che guarda una copia... Viviamo in una fotocopiatrice e non sappiamo più quale sia l'originale.
