What the heck is this message? As long as I've had a Pixiv account, I never received this before. So I have to censor the pussy and dick, just because there's insertion, according to the guidelines??? Don't tell me Pixiv is slowing becoming DeviantArt. Like what's the point on having settings that marks artwork as 18+, if you're just gonna message someone about the site's gonna take it down or you have to make changes and censor certain parts? That's complete bullshit. And this was a new painting I just posted, by the way.

There's this (reposted) fanart that's going around on Twitter of Claudette, who I thought at first was Nea, but it seems the artist wanted to whitewash the whole character instead. The artists drew the "braids", but the whole skin color is way off.

Like...people can scream about how it's just a 2D character, but they don't wanna acknowledge the fact it's just straight up racist. I'm not sure why it's becoming a thing when it comes to fanart, but if you wanted to make a black character look white, then you might as well make your own light-skinned character. It's disgusting how some artists out there thinks it's okay to choose a dark-skinned character and turn them white. Like the fanart isn't even a shade brighter, it's basically 100% brighter than the original color. It's not that hard choosing dark tones, and I'm not talking about pitch black, because that'll be just straight up mockery. You can always look up dark brown color pallets and photo references if that'll help. So to me no matter how cute their art style is, if they choose to whitewash POC characters, then they get no support from me.

Normalize not starting shitty fandom wars about a person’s choice on whether a character is part of the LGBTQ+ category. If a person wants to have Sasuke as Gay or Bi in their fanfics or artwork, then let it be. If a person wants a character from Dbd or any other game out there as Asexual, Demi, or Pan, then let it be. Being within a fandom is suppose to be a fun experience. Not being an ass, arguing about “why do you have my favorite character as this? He’s suppose to be that because I said so!!” Like… Let everyone have their fun with their faves. You don’t HAVE to agree with them because you aren’t making the choices on what they make. Even if it isn’t canon, again, that’s what fics and fanart is for.
