We all know the fact that aside from humans, animals, and plants there are other elements in this world that cannot be perceived by our naked eyes, but we know that they are existing. The Philippines is rich in superstitious beliefs, and one of these is the practice of saying “pasintabi” in Tagalog, sometimes translated as an "apology.” But it is really more of an "Excuse me, please"it is a “defense mechanism” we say to preclude the “unseen” element from hurting us because they are disturbed by our intrusion.

In todays’ generation, superstitious beliefs or traditions are not really practice because of the modernization and urbanization, and people who are still into that kind of thing are called “old school". The sad reality is that the practice of “pasintabi” is slowly disappearing. This reminds of what kind of people our society has right now – fearless and reckless. The rampant killings, rape, drug related issues, etc., are the “unseen element” that some are not afraid to do. Instead of excusing themselves as they intrude into other peoples’ lives, they now try to afflict people.

This made me realized that people do not anymore practice saying "Pasintabi" because we are now in an urban jungle, where trees and plants are getting smaller. This also shows the impact of the subtle destruction of the nature. We no longer fear nature because it is now a concrete jungle, and I think even those "unseen creatures" will fear to live in this kind of world.

It takes greater faith to believe that an unseen God exists than it does to just dismiss him because you cannot physically confirm that he is there. For those who deal in evidence there is proof all around you and inside of you that God does exist, and he is concrete more than just abstract idea.

God is singular yet plural. God's "more than one, in oneness". God exists in one image, but that image is comprised of plural persons. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commands his followers " Go ye therefor, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Spirit. Also, In 1 John 5:7, John makes clear the Trinity, "For there are three that bear record in heaven the father, the word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. These are not the only the verses that attest to God's "more-than-one-in-oneness" there are many more. Collectively, they are God - one being, three persons: the Holy Trinity. This is something that is difficult for our finite minds to grasp.

God is a collective noun. In 1 John 5:7 God is compose of three entity. The three has different role in our spiritual life, but they are still considered as one holy entity.

Good is countable. In a monotheistic perspective, they believe that there is only one God. While in the polytheistic side, they believe that God is more than one, both have a countable entity. Because when we speak of non-countable it means you cannot count something without the use of any measuring tool.

“Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity; it is an act of justice. Like slavery and apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and it can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings. Sometimes it falls on a generation to be great. You can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom.” These words from Nelson Mandela are indeed correct. Nelson Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, and he was the South Africa’s first black American head of state.

Human being is the cause and cure of poverty. No country have started in poverty; it is the people who run and part of that country. It's like they taste their own medicine.

Money makes the world go round. If you do not have it or less have it, it will be difficult for you to go with the flow. Money cannot buy happiness. Yes, literally speaking, but it gives a temporary joy - not everyone can relate. When money talks everybody listen. Good or bad if it invovles money anyone will go for it, especially those who are in the "kapit sa patalim" situations because of what reason - poverty. If knowledge is the power, money is the means.

Financial literacy in education curriculum is something that must be taught to the students, but must be taught first at home. The secret to be financially secured is not about having unlimited digits in your bank account, but being financially literate. “Spend less, save more” easier said than done, especially nowadays that most of the people are financially illiterate. And, it all boils down to the principle - keep the 10% of your earnings.

People come and go, so, as money. Life is unfair; No, it's not. It's our decisions that make us think that life is unfair, know your priorities rather than luxuries. “If you’re going through hell, keep going” everything has its ending. Overcoming poverty may not be as easy as choosing what you want to wear, but with just right amount of discipline and being financially literate you will be on the right track.

"Infographic" I never encounter this word when I was in highschool or maybe I had, I just didn't paid attention to it. After reading the syllabus, I was like "huh?". The first thing that strikes my mind was what is it? How are we going to make it? It is easy to make one?

"Lexical categories" I didn't know that there is another term for part of speech. Not until, I had this course. The lexical categories may look simple, but strictly speaking, this is I guess the most tricky level or part of morphology. These are the fundamentals of language. To all English and language majors, this topic is a must.

Here comes the planning and production, another concept paper again. Throughout the production, I have come to realize how important the concept paper is in every tasks. It serves as the soul of whatever the task is, because all the significant information that will be needing in the task will come from the concept paper. We're having hard time producing the Infographic because we are also preparing for the play - the corpse bride. Nevertheless, with teamwork, creativity, and initiative we were able to make one.

In today's generation, were most of the students are visual learners, infographic is the simplest yet concise visual representation that can be used as a material for instruction. Personally, I learn more when I see photos, colors, graphics etc. that is why I like the idea of using Infographic - eye catching and not wordy.
