Like many, Im a huge fan of Yvan Bilibin illustrations and paintings, I have been inspired by his amazing work for years now, but never took the time to try to infuse it in my own work. these days, Im trying new methods and ways to start a painting. For this one, even tho I had an idea in mind, I first painted rough blobs of greens, added the character in one go afterwards, and then tried to make sense of everything.

In a few weeks I will be exhibiting at Dokomi, my very first European convention!! I'll be bringing a bunch of new prints as well as stickers, pins, keychains and more! I'm beyond excited and can't wait to meet and chat to everyone in person! 🥰
