So uh... Hi? Welcome to my blog, which is gonna be a lot of me rambling and headcanon things to what I'm obsessing over!
The stuff I'm obsessing over right now (Gonna be editing this from time to time, at least probably- So be warned!):
Oreca Battle
Ares and Powan are my precious- ///// Starters being Tanta, then Rock so I'll leave it at that!
Oreca Battle 2
Velch and Demon Emperor Mead, the protagonist and antagonist respectively in Chapter 5, seems to have some similarities that's not on coincidences here...
Cardfight Vanguard
Lianorn Main here! Especially Lianorn Vivace AAAAA-
Honkai: Star Rail
Just returned only to get Morenax Blade and managed to get him and his Lightcone, so yay! :D Probably continuing the game for the time being until I felt I had enough.
Limbus Company
Hello again, Kim and congrats on the Efflorescence-! Wait... Wait, wait where are we going with this conclusion?!!?
Reverse 1999
Rubuska and Corvus are war trauma in this one like holy shit, paying attention to the details are everything
Cookie Run Kingdom
Bruh... That's all I can say, just- Bruh.
Umamusume Pretty Derby
Focusing on Narita Taishin and Agnes Tachyon, but still how in the world am I supposed to go with their most optimal stats when I didn't have much of the recommended Support Cards?
Animator VS Animation, Animation VS Minecraft (Alan Becker)
(AvA) We are so fucked...
(AvM) Starting to worry on what's going on with the other five, especially on hardcore mode
Here's currently what I'm watching, can be anime or just a cartoon show online so let's just say it's like a track record to see what I'm wanting to watch or something along those lines:
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
I just watched the first episode of the entire thing, I'm already in pain T^T
Campfire Cooking in Another World
That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime
Got a habit of going on a long description of things I like so uh... yeah, might be involving fics stuff and OCs. Mostly gonna be reblogs and rambles/drabbles alongside personal headcanons with fics thrown into the mix, probably small doodles/drawings on paper down the line even though might be bad on the last one-
I'm all good for reblogs and comments, but I still dunno how they work so I'll probably wait and see for now.. Oh yeah, I tend to read fanfics a whole lot so I might share something relating to that someday-

This week's OrecaTV episode is just... way too much
With revelation on one is fake than real, the healing blockade, total damage, possible or likely existential crisis- Nope, I can definitely say a lot to take in in jut a night or a day and a half at best

Basically my overall thoughts on CRK's Timeline of Fate Episode 2 to 4 story
Episode 2 and 3 ended well and introduces the main threats despite the amount of dialogues is a lot, probably better on Episode 3 to lessen the dialogues since SCOOP is already familiar on dealing with all kinds of anomalies. Take up Black Vinegar's dialogues for example on her being affected by one of the anomalies that leads her to seek out Povidone Iodine's help, keep it short with the effects after encounter short which lets her take the center focus. Overall, really like SCOOP's introduction and Croissant's involvement to the plot that differentiates this iteration from Ovenbreak's, plus finding out the anomalies that SCOOP has dealt/dealing with from episode 3 up to 4, and it really feels like easter egg hunting.
There are still small gripes I got from Timeline of Fate as of whole is that the BGs of the map aren't used as CGI for the story to convey how and what is happening that doesn't rely on dialogues and still image sprites alone. The BGs for each episode's map are amazing and really a shame that I can't even screenshot the images as of whole since I can't hide the buttons. Really hope that the last parts of Episode 2's Timekeeper and Croissant's side can get voiced at some point, since those parts are the big lore drops! Ulimate Cookie's presence really brings out a large amount of threat and such, basically in terms of Oreca Battle, they're like Dark Matters but have sentience and affects mentality at its finest. Plus in Tower of Records, there's no images for the cutscenes in Wheel of Fates's 11, 12, and 16th episodes.
Well... That's all I can say about the story without spoiling too much, so below here is where the spoilers are abound so read at your own risk!
Even though I see the potential of plot depths to be explored, like really understand to an extent on what the writers want to show in the game, there's just too many things that they missed that just ruined the immersion for me. If the highest points of praise I can offer is mostly on Episode 2 in terms of plot, while Prologue on introducing a pre-existing character from the same franchise yet originated from a different game years ago, Episode 3 and 4 basically for me... Is just missing the potential depths to explore and too much in terms of dialogues despite all the good things I can type in.
Episode 3 "Unidentified Entity Detected!" while amazing on introducing the SCOOP organization and the scale of threat it will have, the rest just- Fumbled in a way. Again, why are we heading straight to the Witch's Hut with just the usual team on Beast-Yeast Episode 7 and 8 plus Madeline? Why aren't we going through the motions first on the discussions between the Ancients and their close compatriots, like having arguments on why should they go or not? WHY ARE WE HEADING BACK OUT OF THE SHORE AFTER MENTAL ORDEAL, PLUS WHY ARE THEY PREPARED BEFOREHAND?!?!! Goodness... While can already see that poor Pitaya Dragon is not doing well and affected by Ultimate Cookie's dough (how the fuck there's so many even though Shadow Milk only took a fragment of it???), its better that they don't talk to show that they've been reverted to the core survival and instinctual mindset.
While Episode 4 "Prognosis: Doom" showcases the threat becoming more dire, there's too many dialogues to scour through and stuff. Really really questioning on why Gingerbrave's group goes to the Magic Academy, aka Blueberry Yogurt Academy, instead of not back towards either the Vanilla Kingdom, Faerie Kingdom, or even the Spire of All Knowledge (or at least what remains of it and called Spire of Shadows) since the last two have more historical information that what was dated while the ones in the academy got the possibilities of information being filtered by a ton to restrict forbidden knowledge from being let out into the public or the staff in general. As much as I like Black Sapphire and Candy Apple remain devoted to Shadow Milk while the former is growing suspicious on Shadow Milk's condition that the latter remains blinded to, sometimes silence speak louder than words. Show and don't tell remains as a rule of storytelling for a reason, after all. Why is anyone not questioning on Gingerbrave's condition and change of mood being that of a downer, especially connecting the dots to something that happened in the Ultimate Oven back in Beast-Yeast's Episode 15? Why are the writers involving White Lily back into the plot after her removal from the story and straight to the conclusion? Again, why now out of all times that Hollyberry recognizes Pitaya Dragon instead of much earlier with the speech, while Pure Vanilla for all of his declaration to care about Shadow Milk, doesn't seem to care of what happened to the Beast that leads the latter to doing this? ALSO WHY, FOR ALL AMOUNTS OF TEASING AND SUCH FROM TIMEKEEPER'S TEASER, DO THE CORRUPTED ANCIENTS GOT LESS THAN 10 SECONDS OF REVEAL AND ONLY TEASED AGAIN IN THE LAST CUTSCENE OF THIS EPISODE?!??!
I just... I really needed a break from continuing, and just going for a TLDR in a reblog for this soon today.
I was gonna make a post on what I think about how I felt after Timeline of Fate's Episode 2, but they definitely going full speed ahead huh-
Guess a bit of overtime and bit of multitasking today, which is going to be a headache with exams

adhd paralysis sucks bcuz im just sitting there and my brain is like
YOU ARE WASTING TIME YOU ARE WASTING TIME YOU ARE WASTING TIME YOU ARE WASTING TIME YOU ARE WASTING TIME YOU ARE WASTING TIME YOU ARE WASTING TIME YOU ARE WASTING TIME YOU ARE WASTING TIME YOU ARE WASTING TIME
no work done no rest gained. literally no point of this at all
Hi Enzina! Sorry for barging in out of the blue 😅 But just out of curiosity — and as a fellow Ares lover — I really wanna know your thoughts on Chapter 4 overall! And a bonus question: do you also think Ares might return somehow later on? 🤭🔥
It's okay, Yuna! Also hi to you too! I got confused on if you're referring to the Chapter 4 from Oreca Battle 1 or from Oreca Battle 2, so here's both to less the headache as a small bonus 😉
I first thought on OB1's Chapter 4 being a normal hero tale when I left off as an old player, but turns out that is Old Chapter 4 and found out about New Chapter 4 from fanarts out of boredom there. Tbh, I hadn't known much, but after finding out that Ares being the antagonist in New Chapter 4 and about the Dark Matters when I got back into Oreca Battle, it just- Holy shit, suddenly the story in Oreca Battle 1 turned out to be going an unexpected direction and not like the generic protagonist's journey 😶 Safe to say he's one of my favorites and he needs as much comfort as possible, with Chrome being the protagonist of New Chapter 4 and he knew Ares is just... Ooooh gosh, definitely a huge angst after reading about Old Chapter 5 from the fanwiki.
As for Oreca Battle 2's Chapter 4, never did I expect that this chapter is full on demonic themes! Plus Maxx, the very first Demon race protagonist, teaming up with Warrrior race healer, and Oremon on this chapter Estie (hope I got the names right, sorry if I got it wrong-) is an interesting line-up as a starter team. Though even more so with the Demon Emperor Eladorra did to Lapla, literally what the fuck.... Definitely forced self-sacrifice that's messed up with Demon Lapla's team being healed and cleansed of status effects while dealing AOE damage to the enemy team. This particular chapter makes me question which of the fates is the worst, either affected by Dark Matter to losing sense of self yet retain warped sense of autonomy or retain one self but forced to lose control your own autonomy.
Then for the bonus question on if Ares might make a comeback or not in Oreca Battle 2... I'm a bit on a fence between the two, because the only protagonists of Oreca Battle 1 that we saw are Dartan in Chapter 2 and Hien in Chapter 3 instead of Chapter 7 like in OB1. Dartan using an alias instead of his own name in his 2 and 3 star forms before using his on when he's Infinite Musketeer, while Hien is not with Wu Hu and returned to the Wind Village is something interesting to remember of. Cause in OB1's manga of the Monster's Adventures at Hien's chapter, Hien goes to in search of the dragon to seek a cure to Nanawarai's sickness of sorts. But if that event doesn't happen with Nanawarai is not affected by a sickness of sorts in Oreca Battle 2, then what happened to the other OB1 protagonists? Do their fates got altered from what they have respectively in the previous game, or do they have some sense of awareness of things is not what they've come to know of? Since at this point, I do want them to have their respective comebacks, but at the same time really terrified on what entails their becoming if they do show up, with one thought of Dante being the time-limited monster Ice Dante from OB1 since Powan's affected by Dark Matter or something along those lines that her Red Bubble Mage 3 star commands are full on inflicting slowness and high damage.
Hope my answer's not too confusing to read through with me rambling on quite long!
Today's the update for Timeline of Fate and gonna play it tomorrow, so usual thoughts of 'Truth Concealed by Time' and Episode 1 here
P.S. I'm using Korean voiceover to play and this post's really low effort, cause starting to feel burnt out if Episode 2's going to be bad-
Interesting that we're focusing on Ash Salt's becoming and manipulated by Shadow Milk
Animation on Shadow Milk diverting the canonical event is just being cut off every few seconds, which I dislike since they can just finish one part of scene in its entirety before going to the remaining half
Interesting that the future that Shadow Milk sought is that of the Beasts' freedom being the main priority, though... Kinda strange that I didn't see the corrupted form of Shadow Milk from the diverged timeline
Poor Beasts' acquaintances are barely mentioned, since with Black Sapphire and Candy Apple showed up directly like- What happened to Cloud Haetae, Peach Blossom, Nutmeg Tiger, Pavlova, and Salt Cellar? What happened to the Beasts' respective areas in Beast-Yeast?
I hate the EN interpretation sometimes, since it's not a full on translation to understand what's going on-
The Time Balance Department is now involved, yaaay! But also oh no, we're gonna have a lot of confusion going on
As much as I like String Gummy and Pain de Campagne showing up and present alongside Croissant, I'm worried if their personalities are mixed up in the writing or is it just me overthinking things
You know that something's going really wrong when Timekeeper's going serious for once to do her job properly, beneath the whimsical and chaotic neutral demeanor she has despite her capability to see all possible events from past, present and future
Huge, huge love to seeing Diverged Timekeeper in action, especially the sprite on her appearance when giving Croissant the confidence boost and safeguard of the handmade modular to time travel. Plus the slight clue of mentioning that Croissant herself is the one who made it, leaning to confirmation that Timekeeper's Croissant from different future like in Ovenbreak!
I love seeing Timekeeper doing her duties and having a conversation/ hearing a confession of sorts from Diverged Timekeeper, definitely the concept of 'The End of Time' where the time and space itself is no longer manageable and cannot be salvaged or when the Timekeeper of that timeline had enough of what they've experienced is definitely interesting... But also heartbreaking (I recommend watching MirratheArtist's analysis of Timekeeper Cookie on YouTube, definitely amazing to look into if you're into character depths)
Now that the review of Episode 1's done, time to delve into what I think about the additional stage in the Prologue, which is 'Truth Concealed by Time'. This episode shows what happened after Silent Salt had sealed himself and the remaining four Beast cookies into the Silver Tree, focusing on Elder Faerie's perspective on the aftermath of the sealing and his first and only meeting with the Light of the Virtues.
At first, I was understandably angry at how the Light of Virtues intentionally willing to separate themselves to the purified Soul Jams being spread through Earthbread in search for new owners and the corrupted Soul Jams remained with the Beasts, essentially pushing the Beasts further into the worst parts of themselves more. But the more I calmed down and try to rationalize it through... Aren't the Light of Virtues being like pure, idealized concepts? Tainted by the ideals and personalities of the Virtues themselves prior to the separation, sure, but still an unnamed concept without ever realizing what to do to bring the represented concept into reality. If that's the case, then that would make me speculate more on the what-ifs on how the Virtues interact with others before their eventual corruption. Are they guided by their respective Soul Jams first before suddenly stopped receiving that very guidance along the way?
Regardless, interesting point to brought up. Because right now, there's still Pure Vanilla, Hollyberry, Dark Cacao, Golden Cheese, Shadow Milk got their respective Soul Jams in person, with Shadow Milk holding the remaining fragments of Mystic Flour, Burning Spice, and Eternal Sugar's Soul Jams... That leaves out Dark Enchantress, White Lily, and Silent Salt now gone but the three's Soul Jams reunited into one complete Soul Jam of Solidarity taking form and present. Since it's wanting to go to the First Oven, meaning the oven from the witch's hut that Gingerbrave, Strawberry, and Wizard escaped and ran away from at the very start of the game... What kind of freedom does it aim now from the bare concept of Solidarity, torn asunder to both Freedom and Silence before reuniting into one?
So... I played the Prologue of CRK's 2nd Arc aka Timeline of Fate last week's Friday
And uhh... I have mixed feelings basically.
On one hand, I like how the development is going on within the story and the scale is set to an increasing amount with how the existing Soul Jams are what balances a world (maybe Earthbread in this context) is on. But on the other, there's just... barely at stake with the introduction to Timeline of Fate here.
As always, spoilers of CRK's Timeline of Fate - Prologue alongside bits of the ending of Beast-Yest are expected and will be below "Keep Reading" here!
Alright, so! Having tarot cards to pick out the episode and linear layout to pick a stage to go through really threw me off since I'm used to map background throughout Crispia and Beast-Yeast, but nonetheless appreciate the changes! Plus, the background on the episode is really amazing to look at. With total of 11 episodes in Timeline of Fate (yes, I counted-) and three being the introductory ones, kinda wonder what the other tarot cards are going to be here since for Prologue we got the back cover of the tarot cards of both Shadow Milk's and Pure Vanilla's, Ash Salt being reversed The Hanged Man, and Timekeeper being upright Wheel of Fortune.
To be honest, I thought the stages takes on a more linear path that I just went with the first one at the very start and switching stages every one at a time when they're closer to the one I finished. But turns out I gotta finish the line at the top first before going for the one at the lower one LMAOO- Nonetheless, combat-wise think of the stages is like Beast-Yeast where enemies are powered up that only certain cookies are either immune and/or powered up as well in each episode. Even though I only finished the Prologue and not Episode 1 yet...
Storyline is pretty tame, even though there's plenty of animated scenes that I hoped to not be cut midway for dialogues and instead focus on finishing the animation first before the aftermath is discussed between the characters present in the scene. It presents the incoming danger quite well for Pure Vanilla's side of things, with concern and confusion on what's going on with Shadow Milk messed him up mentally even further, plus building up the stakes that the Time Balance Department has to face while Timekeeper for the most part, is nonchalant from their dialogues went. Even Ash Salt's involvement, although still wondering how and why she's in the present timeline, has danger that Timekeeper had to interfere to prevent current timeline collapse! Yep, we're going with visual novel style of multiple choices here! Thank goodness I rationalized that Dark Cacao's more experienced on going on the frontlines and ambushes, considering with Ash Salt's appearance and abilities that she specializes in quick movements and precise attacks on the first pick aaaaa-
Then came the dialogues and... Going to be for real here for a quick second, it felt like even more of dialogues and words too confusing that could've been just simplified with existing words than it already has in the main focus of Beast-Yeast's episode 15. For example, there's a part on where Pure Vanilla (I'm back to talking about Timeline of Fate's Prologue by the way-) is both haunted on the lack of guidance that he's having nightmares he doesn't share with his fellow Ancients ever since White Lily's sacrifice to bring down Dark Enchantress, but it's gone on for really long that I even wonder what he's trying to say by the end of it. It would've been better that he first mentions that he dreams of White Lily during their time together at the Yogurt Academy and together with the others when they first got their own Soul Jams, followed by having nightmares far more terrifying than the war that Dark Enchantress had caused. That sets the bar for remembrance with longing for one that won't come back and the sense of loss followed by terror on what he should do afterward, with the one he sought to understand the most, both as White Lily and Dark Enchantress, is no longer present in reality. Not to mention, the bare mentions of the cookies that appeared in the credits sequence at the end of Beast-Yeast, it feels like a waste for the ones who just played or didn't make it to the end of the 15th episode during Sugar Swan's update, because it can be made to an additional episode or something consisting of just story stages alone to share the aftermaths or what comes after the Dark Enchantress War.
Please don't mention the coherency, because I saw and read through that one event... Just, what do you mean there are losses? Where are the losses and conflict post-war? Since all I saw are just happy endings and resolutions, with grief all over.
Soo... yeah, that's all I got for now. I might be going for finishing and reading through the 1st Episode to Timeline of Fate, but at this point, I'm just focusing on every detail on the dialogue and stuff before wondering and possibly cursing which of the writers approved of the dialogues being made here. Because literally, I'm just suffering because of the powercreep, the lack of involvement that means having more stakes are in place, and the dialogues that just went on and on is starting to nag me to the point of annoyance.
Oh right, there's also a story stage on Prologue that just popped up when I'm trying to gather the tokens for an enemy section. Hopefully it can explain things somewhat, buut...
Looks to the side to see a mob or something at a far distance*
...Why do I feel it's gonna be a frustrating one to read through? I just hope, like really really hope, that I don't crash out straight downward to the negative SP points in Limbus combat terms like I did with the Ancients and armies not doing anything useful to try to break off the magic circle draining both Ancients and Beasts of their Soul Jams, plus Sugar Swan being deus ex machina to the plot.

Time to talk about Beast-Yeast's last episode aka Episode 15
Originally, I was supposed to make a really long post detailing of what Beast-Yeast all about and then delving into the last episode alongside it's final arc as of whole. But seeing as I hadn't been continuing the draft of it... Yeah, screw it, just the simplifications are just enough and that draft post would just be for me to see privately.
I'll be rambling long about it below here, so keep in mind that this is my own opinion to things.
PLUS SPOILERS BE WARNED OF COOKIE RUN KINGDOM'S BEAST-YEAST FROM THE 13TH TO 15TH EPISODE AS OF WHOLE!!!!
So, what happened and when I played this update? Well, I played it about two weeks ago at 13th of March with a bad feeling already being felt even though I hadn't seen any spoilers of it. Turns out I had every right to worry and keep that bad feeling, since the story coherency just... fell apart for me. Keeping it short here in a form of lists from Episode 13 to 15 on what I find frustrating:
Wait, why are Golden Cheese's retainers are physically there in Episode 14? I thought they're all just Soulcheeses that she manifested and left behind for protection at the Golden Cheese Kingdom, which would mean Fetuccine and the other Cheesebirds to defend the kingdom on their own. Let Fettucine and the Golden Cheese Kingdom citizens utilize the traps lying around inside the kingdom to prevent powered up Cake Monsters from breaching through the hallways!
Why is Hollyberry not struggling as much? Like, have her drop into the garden and struggle to get out as the thorny vines of the Garden of Happiness began to close in, which is when BOOM! Fire Spirit helps as the flames of her passion ignites her shield for her to charge through the Garden and return to the battlefield!
WHY SO MANY STOMP ANIMATIONS, GODDAMNIT--!! (Not going to lie, I was not expecting there to be using the stomping animation so many times that the immersion just broke-)
Espresso being the MVP is in a way both amazing yet worrying, since he just solo'ed through to destroy the draining circle in Dark Enchantress's stronghold
Having Espresso be more suspicious of the Dough Trio. No offense, but I can see him to not let the three of them out of sight until he makes sure that they did what Venom Dough had told him. One unaccounted variable to the war is more chances of things going more south besides what both he himself and Wizard had seen, being that Dark Enchantress becoming a Witch
Pure Vanilla could've shown more complexity that's layered besides the patient saint, like- Let him told everyone that the draining circle effects are which correlates to his past with White Lily prior to the Witches' Banquet, heck! Even making sure that the Beasts are unharmed since even one being dead can make things even harder to fight against Dark Enchantress in half-witch form. Remember, all nine of their respective Soul Jams are being drained from the draining circle, so the chances of that power being recovered instantly is non-existence since it's possibly the first time for them all to experience it
Why in the living hell Sugar Swan show up? WITHOUT ANY PROPER BUILD UP EVEN?? Also revive and heal everyone? WOULD THAT JUST DISTURB THE NATURAL LIFE ORDER SO MUCH?!
That reminds me, why are there no mages of sorts in the heroes' army? I would've thought that at least someone noticed and try to disturb the draining circle on the surrounding area by messing the carved symbols on the ground
How and where did Gingerbrave ended up in? I won't lie it's a good concept, but the dialogues didn't stick the landing
Please, Pure Vanilla, Hollyberry, Dark Cacao, Golden Cheese, you guys have more important things at hand than worrying about Gingerbrave who just got out of the Primordial Oven! SUCH AS MAKING SURE THE TROOPS' MORALITY AND HEALTH ARE SOMEWHAT OKAY AS OF WHOLE!!
Beast cookies should've gone out more with a bang instead of an off-screen kill, let them have one last 1V1 with their respective Ancients or something damnit
The side stories, White Lily's plans and what the Beast cookies are experiencing after being affected by Silent Salt's Judgement of Silence, could've been done in the previous episodes and played alongside the main story in numerical order respectively
I just... Dark Enchantress should've been more of a larger threat than she is in gameplay wise, since she's the main antagonist since the start of Cookie Run Kingdom. Have her utilize the power of others' drained Soul Jams more to cause more destruction and such. Have her lose herself to the amalgamation of voices she's a part of to which increases the danger scale if she or even the Ultimate Cookie were to be left alone despite only remaining as an unspoken possibility
...What the fuck you mean Light of Hope, Pure Vanilla? Why... Why in the world are you not questioning things such as who is that? Why does it look like White Lily and had just thrown a spear? Why did it just came into physical form after the shards of green and purple Soul Jams united into one? Just... Please don't hype the thing/guy/girl up, Pure Vanilla.
In short, although I have some good impressions from this episode, there's just too many inconsistencies that I ended up getting mad about it all and didn't enjoy how Arc 1 ended since I feel like this episode or saga was clearly rushed. I'll type a continuation it later of what I enjoy throughout the Dark Enchantress War, but for now I need a break... Just listing each grievance alone took a lot of me-
Been nearly a month and had calmed down... Somewhat. Still crash out whenever I got reminded on how Beast-Yeast's Episode 15 ended though, so I'm trying to not think about it too much.
Either way, time for me to list out what I like from the Dark Enchantress War episodes from Beast-Yeast. Think of it like the last recollection before we're entering Act 2 in less than two weeks from now. Like always, spoilers are around below here so be cautious if you want to see the cutscenes yourselves!
Note: I ended up posting this a day after the Act 2 update happened and haven't played the new storyline, so keep in mind-
[insert border here, I dunno just imagine there's one-]
So! First off, going for the obvious here being the Dough Trios aka Dark Enchantress's strongest creations at her disposal but forced to work under her to the point of being crumbled.
All three of them do fit each other and in the story, that really shows despite each of them have their own boss fights with both Pom-Pom Dough and Molt Dough on the 13th episode while only Venom Dough on their own in episode 14. One can only imagine how troublesome and deadly the trio can be if they're together of their own, especially Pom-Pom Dough on rapid and fast attacks, Molt Dough being the powerhouse and Venom Dough with their telekinesis can manipulate venom and physical attacks to either redirect them towards the enemies or stun the opposing side! Thankfully, the trio got their own good endings after running away and breaking free from Dark Enchantress's control after episode 15, even though they feel threatened by Espresso barging through to destroy the stronghold there. I dunno, that's all I can say about the three and would love to see them going to various places in Crispia and interact with the others outside the main characters, since there's a lot to explore from the limited knowledge the three of them all have. No complaints here!
Next being the map designs of the episodes, which there's a lot of detail to notice despite having unable to zoom out at the very start as well as the changes that happen as the story progresses! For Episode 13, there are no changes to the stages as of whole other than zooming out from the first few stages and so on. But on Episode 14 is where the significant changes are visible, with how things seems to be going well but with each of the Beast cookies' realms (except Silent Salt's) becoming visible despite limited to only five stages each became known when the player's finished certain stages. The more you progress in this episode, the more of Dark Enchantress's plans are unravelling and made known despite not knowing the details yet until the very last stage. Which reminds me... ohoho boy, the 15th episode's map design is just... Wow. It really shows that things are going out of hand literally speaking, with dark claws are hinging on the main map where the war is happening, while the smaller shards yet larger than the tiny ones being the sub-story of the episode fits well (Even though it still rubs me wrong with how it can be done from the 13th Episode instead of now).
The animations of both 2D and 3D are just incredible, showcasing the Ancients' and Beasts' might in their own regards, though my only complaint is that please use the animations on the other beast cookies instead of just one like- Gosh. Even though I see what the priority is, it's not the same without the full cast being on the limelight.
The enemies on these three Episodes are amazing, firstly being freaky and terrifying on how far Butter Dough, Matcha, and Dark Enchantress's dedication to creating Cookies as of whole with how many boundaries are crossed from both Espresso and Wizard's dialogues.
It reminds me and I'm really sorry on adding on my list of grievances more, but at this point, you as the one reading this far mightn as well be already aware and wanting to read of it.
[Additional grievances incoming-]
Sugar Swan's characterization, even though I very rarely play Ovenbreak and had just got back into it because of the entire Dark Enchantress War saga, is mismanaged and lacking build-up since she appears out of nowhere. Not to mention her abilities, which was shown in the 15th episode to revive the cookies crumbled by Dark Enchantress felt like a cheap Deus ex Machina instead of one with risks involved. Also, I noticed there's Black Sugar Swan which is a different person entirely and not Sugar Swan? ...Cripes, that's just total misused potential. If the Elemental Guardians being involved meant that the entirety of Earthbread is at stake, then what does Sugar Swan being involved directly and not indirectly meant? The risk factor of when the Elemental Guardians and even Sugar Swan is involved is non-existent, even though they're rarely involved when the world is fine as of whole. Have their existences becoming known visibly and directly, to all cookies no less, have risks involved on greater scale on what had happened that lead to the legendaries being involved or even what'll happen afterward!
Bravery Hill, which is where Gingerbrave ended up before he escaped the Primordial Oven... Honestly, it's a huge huge mess up that needs a lot of build up of sorts before this saga happens. Because who remembers that statue that's only mentioned once during the Crispia arc from years ago? Exactly no one. I understand that the writers might want to focus on Gingerbrave, Strawberry, and Wizard's origin from the Witch's Hut, but... Come on, have some restraint and planning before then to drop teasers before now. Plus the Cookies of Darkness, oh boy... They really need more spotlights on how their plannings are underway to bring up each of their own capabilities and how their relationships went. Are there some hostilities or adorations (Chess Choco towards Dark Choco, despite the latter have left)? Why did Dark Enchantress gathered them under her guidance? Since Red Velvet's the one who's the longest with her besides Pomergranate, what are his thoughts of his surgorrate mother in a way?
Just-! There's way too many potentials for character depth that's set aside for just the main focus.
